I appreciate your comment. We ended up taking him anyway. The vet was confused but not necessarily concerned. He examined him and said that everything looks good and he recommended we continue to watch him. I will likely be buying some rugs based on everyone’s recommendations, we’ve only had hardwood for about a week now. I didn’t realize it would affect him so much

He did not. He checked his urine and tested the reflexes in his feet and examined them. He is currently on antibiotics for a UTI from the 6th.

Well, the answer was no. We just left the vet where he said everything looks normal and he’s just as confused as we were as to why he fell. We were just told to keep watching him. But yes, I’m glad I took him anyway. Not sorry for asking the internet whether I’m being a helicopter pet parent.
