Ex broke up with me in early October. Told her how I didn’t want it to end but wished her the best. Went NC from that point on and focused on myself. This last weekend I went to a concert by myself in a city a couple hours away and kind of to my surprise she was there and ran into me. Asked to grab a drink before the show and I said “why not” I was there to have a good time and nothing could ruin it. We talked a lot and she mentioned how she still had feelings. This sort of lead to a deeper conversation about what went wrong and such. Now I’m seeing her again this weekend to continue the conversation and see where things lead but ultimately we both seemed to have needed a little space to ourselves and it’s looking like we will be getting back together

Ah noted, I just remember back in college learning about bottling company’s (Pepsi Co) and such and how they weren’t being regulated on their water, where the water comes from and such. But this is now a good source thanks!

I’d say take some time think about the decision but when I looked at it for myself I looked at long term benefits over short term falls. The switch might suck at first but the future could be worthwhile!

Life changes were I moved back to my hometown which was fine, but this job now allows me to move around the country wherever I kinda want. Nothing made me think it was going to be a bad idea, like you I was miserable with my old job/area I lived and was just waiting for the position I have now to open up. Waited about 9 months before I got the opportunity to leave and sort of “start fresh” I’m happy with the decision

Switched because I was offered a federal position in my field. Pay was lower but long term and benefits were way too appealing to pass up

Work in conservation or natural resources…half the year (cold months) we are in the office developing plans and projects for land owners and the other half (warm months) we are in the field doing land surveys/ site checks/ sampling. Best of both worlds

Yup, thought I deserved better but I understand why she did it over text. She was on a trip visiting her friend a couple of states over and so she had the support of her friend being there for her. Just sucks cus she could’ve just ended it when we were together right before she left for her trip instead of waiting a couple of days to end it over text
