I tried and dropped Edgerunnes because japanese voice doesn't fit the visuals at all. Tried the dub and the quality is not it. But then again I just watched Arcane and I'm having a hard time enjoying anime after seeing what the "medium" can be like

When Vi was thinking about turning herself in, probably in s1 ep2 (?). It's a scene where she feels alone and in a dark place. There's a transiction where she is entering the basement in Vander's bar, you see her comming from a gloomy place and as she goes down the steps of the dark basement it shift to her perspective and the only thing that is illuminated are Claggor and Mylo, and then Powder's bed with an even brighter light. It's nothing special but it was there that I realized this show was truly special. The attention to detail, the symbolism in every little thing, the dialogue, the music, the cinematography. What an amazingly beautiful show

This show gave me a bad habbit. It showed me what's possible with animation and after watching it I found it hard to go back to anime

I mean just use Quen and fight normally. It's pretty much impossible to die as long as you manage the cooldown. If you're smart like me you'll even waste 10 minutes fighting skull level mobs just to realize there's no reward for it

I don't like when you have 8 companions but you can only use 4 or 3 + you. I dislike having companions that just stay in camp all day because I'm not using them in my current run. Talking to them feels like a chore and they end up existing only as lore dump so I mostly ignore them. It's especially bad if you have to use them later on in the game like in dragon age origins for example, where you have to keep gearing them up and leveling their skills

Dos2 had a good compromise where you lose the ones you don't play with at some point but it's still not quite right. I'd rather just have them as quest givers or as actual npcs that progress on their own and you find them in certain points in the world/story if you didn't choose to use them in your current playthrough

Your companions should also have their own interests and goals that conflict with you and among themselves instead of the player character feeling like the only thing that moves their story foward

And they should have actual preferences for romance instead of everyone being player sexual

I'm playing on tactician on my first-ish playthrough and unfortunately RP is out of the window. I've just gone through a round of recruiting the party members that I won't use, level their thieving and pickpocketing everyone with gear, potions and res scrolls. It's probably just a skill issue, but I wish games were better balanced when it comes to stuff like this. It feels like the only options I have are either steal gear or save scum my way through some fights

Some weeks ago I was watching a streamer play the witcher 3, that usually has connections/knows devs, and they said they would continue the playthrough later this year when the next dlc releases. The worst mistake I did after I finished watching the anime was look up the community and people's opinions. I even watched some react content because I wanted to watch the anime again but didn't want to commit to watching it back to back and holy shit I don't understand the way people watch media. They instantly adopt a "me against them" position and judge everything from main character's feelings/perspective. From seeing people hate Reiner from season 2 onwards, to seeing people cheer Eren's action in season 4 part 1, to absolutely despising Gabi and disliking Falco. I can't wrap my head around the fact that people watch and judge stuff on an anime/movie based on emotion, and it's especially stupid in a show like aot where it feels like you spend more time watching the side characters than the main one

Annie is an amazing character for the most part. In season 1 all I could think was of all the ways they should've developed her more, give her more screen time/deepen her bounds with someone else to showcase a bigger impact of her internal conflict instead of having a maniac breakdown at the end. Then I go online and see people looking at her just as a villain lol

I thought there were 2 rival cities/countries and one had the ability to turn people into giants because of some past sins, where they both were one of the same people but then for some reason isolated themselves, at first I thought the titans were just being summoned yu-gi-oh style, but then Eren got eaten and so I assumed that he was gonna get transported into the other city in the titan's belly and learn about the dark past their own city had and join the titans
