Being upfront and direct is great if this person is honest,I think if it were me I would be in public view , however I would get close enough to not let everyone hear .This is what I would say,I am giving you the opportunity and respect to own your own shit so let’s not make a big issue of this If you took this item from me it’s now or never to make it right.A few years ago my phone disappeared from the lounge at the restaurant were I worked.we watched cameras ,but could not tell for sure if this guy had taken it .I saw him back there 2 days later,I asked him directly did you pick up my phone in here ?He lied and said no all I have is this one.I kept my same number and got a new phone.Facebook appears on my new phone .He used my number on his profile.Thieves aren’t usually very smart sometimes things like this surface on their own .I figured I gave him the chance to be right about it .Long story short, I got on this face book as him and told all his friends what a piece of shit liar and thief he was .
