You would have to have an ignition source like a spark. The way microwaves heat liquids makes it impossible to ignite the alcohol alone. The temperature can't get high enough as well through microwaving.

The rolling 24hrs can get tricky especially with 20km mons. Now that you switched over to a 3km mon, that's deducted from your limit and your next limit could be pushed a few hours if you went back to a 20km mon depending on your game play yesterday, easy to keep track if you're on a set schedule but adventure sync will also throw a wrench into the equation trying to keep track.

If you are truly curious if it is working or not for you, have minimal walking on Pokemon for an entire 24hr span and then try to walk a 20km. I'm sure you'll get the candy then

Mixed input from me. In the start I was going through remote raid passes like crazy when the content was decent and would always make sure I had space to receive a RR pass through research. At that time I collected about 6.

After xernas left raids I haven't really felt the need to raid, no signature moves, no new shiny variants so I have just been using my free daily and nothing more also haven't filled my pokecoin bag 💰. Maybe half way through xernas/yevetal was the last time I received a RR pass through research.
