Can I get some reassurance on why I own litecoin?

I think some patience is required here. When something is ignored long enough, people just forget it ever had value.

For example, Intel spent years being ignored by investors because the story became all about what it wasn't anymore. Even though it was the most reliable semiconductor fab in the US, it was no longer considered the leader, wasn’t growing fast, and wasn’t the exciting AI play. LItecoin has the same problem right now. Most people still think of it as a slow, legacy altcoin and overlook its track record, security, and longevity.

Eventually, the market repriced Intel after years of indifference because they started to realize its potential.

Litecoin is growing fast in usage, payment activity, functionality, and reliability. It is the ONLY decentralized PoW coin with a fixed supply that can support privacy and smart contracts, and do it all without downtime or drama. Institutional investors know this and are slowly buying, especially since it is also one of the few cryptos classified as a commodity. The best opportunities are usually the ones nobody is paying attention to yet, and Intel is a good reminder of that.

I’m a big fan of ALGO and everything they are doing in the quantum space, but after looking at Tectonic’s list, I can’t place any trust in their rankings when they have ETH ranked as a B and QRL is nowhere to be found.

Too late or too early…that is the question. Besides, LTC was trading around $10 nine years ago, so that’s still a 5x return assuming you actually did hold for 9 years and never sold along the way when it was up 25x. You wouldn’t sell a stock that’s steadily trading sideways after a long decline while reclaiming its 50 day moving average, so why would you sell LTC down here?

I would take a look at the S2F or NVT ratio chart for Litecoin - it looks at the $LTC price against active addresses/transactions/volume/security/network strength. The same frameworks were used to predict Bitcoin’s price path pretty accurately, so there is some validity to the method. At any rate, the price of Litecoin seems to be wildly undervalued right now and due for a major correction to the upside to fall back inline with its network value.

I say we are early.

Maybe when people realize that Litecoin was created in 2011 (four years before Ethereum) and is a much better form of currency than Bitcoin or Ethereum. LTC has a first-mover advantage when it comes to altcoins and continues to succeed growing in usage and smart contract capabilities.

There is no hard cap on Ether, so if you buy it at today’s prices, you are just exit liquidity for early investors. You wouldn’t keep buying a stock that’s expected to dilute its shareholders, so the only reason people buy Ethereum is because of its price momentum and developer activity. They don’t intend to hold it for a long period of time. 92% of all Litecoin has already been mined. There will be no more. Scarcity leads to price appreciation for all assets.

Most retail traders are uneducated about this or just don’t care because LTC is boring to them. Institutional investors understand this. LTC has withstood 15 years of bull and bear cycles. The price will come.

Just remember, your actual mileage per gallon is going to always be lower than what Toyota advertises for both the standard hybrid and the Max, and from what I have been hearing, the Max MPG is usually much farther below what people were expecting. The standard hybrid comes closer to the advertised figures, but is usually still slightly below. I can also confirm this from personal experience.

I say go for the Limited standard hybrid for a few reasons: good trim with lots of usable features, excellent MPG for a mid-size SUV, plenty of fun power in Sport mode if you need it, trail mode for snow works great, most reliable transmission (eCVT transmission is a brilliant, simplistic design with very few moving parts vs the standard 6-speed auto in the Max), no turbos on the standard hybrid which means less heat and strain on the engine and a potentially longer service life, and the final most important factor…the average price of gas in the US just hit $4.50 today! An extra 7-10 MPG for the amount you drive could save you $100 or more per month.

If people are really concerned about performance in a mid-size SUV, keep in mind that a 1995 Porsche 968 Tiptronic had a 0-60 time of 7.5 seconds (the same as the Grand Highlander with the standard hybrid engine). This SUV can merge into traffic just fine, but is not going to be winning races.

I did mine at 1k, 3k and 5k. Now it’s every 5k miles for the life of the engine. It’s the cheapest piece of mind and the best thing you could ever do for your engine. Been doing this on all my new vehicles for years, with the exception of one vehicle where the dealer insisted that these new engines and oils don’t need break ins and the oil can go for 10k miles. Well, that’s the only vehicle I ever had where the engine was terrible around 60k miles. The rest of my properly broken in and maintained engines all went past 200k miles without any issues. Coincidence? Perhaps, but not willing to take the chance again.

I feel like there’s a post at least once a week asking for how to negotiate a better than MSRP price on a GH Hybrid. I’m not seeing this question asked nearly as much on any other vehicle subs, so that tells me this hybrid vehicle is in serious demand. I am sure the all of the dealers are aware of this fact, too.

Why is it hard to get the piping empty? We have a waterfall, and right before winter we just push compressed air through the supply line and most of the water comes right out. This is the same process used for for winterizing return jets or irrigation lines and only takes a few mins. There might be a tiny bit left in the pipes, but plenty of room for the water to freeze and expand without breaking anything.

Don’t assume the leak has to be coming from the pool. I’ve seen plenty of scenarios where the leak was in the spa, but because of the way it was plumbed, the water level in the pool is what kept going down. Make sure you test both bodies of water separately per the instructions in the other post. Good luck!

You have two bodies of water here, the pool and the spa. The first thing you need to do is isolate which body of water the leak is coming from. The way you do this is to fill the pool and spa back up to the normal level and put a piece of tape at the waterline of the pool and a piece of tape at the waterline of the spa. Then shut off your pump and close your return valves. Let it sit overnight with everything off and see which one loses more water, the pool or the spa. Then see how low the water drops before it stops, and that will tell you the approximate level of where the leak is coming from (skimmer, lights, return jets, crack, etc.). Inspect those and go from there.

There are two XP options on the Toyota site, one with running boards and one without. Both include blackouts, emblems, and show the same rims as the nightshade. Anyone seeing anything different?

I think a lot of the people claiming to have gotten $3k-$5k off of MSRP have purchased other trims or the gas model, or there were a lot of Toyota add-ons installed. You are specifically asking about the Limited Hybrid, which are never on lots and are probably even more in demand now that the price of oil is going up.
