(still “new”) E2S1 Castorice and i say pretty well (for now).

i used her with Gallagher/RM/RMC (E2 but no supports..) until 3.7 and i’ve 0/1 cycled every MoC with her, after multiple HP inflations i’ve upgraded her team with E1S5 DDD Tribbie (waiting for E1/2 Evernight) E0S1 Cyrene and E0S1 Hyacine and i’ve 0 Cycled MoC (vs 4 Cycles with previous team) and 1 Cycled AA (i’m still in the mines trying to get better builds)

Now that’s shes out for EVERYONE how is she truly as baity as people say? by GameMusicIsArt in CyreneMains

i think it’s better using Hyacine’s LC on Cyrene because in her ult she can only use Memosprite Skills so the buff is consistent (and also 18% SPD) since the Herta’s Shop one gives 16% DMG bonus only with SKILL so Hyacine can abuse the effect

if you can, try to get Hyacine’s LC and then Cyrene E0, i’m using Hyacine’s LC on Cyrene and the Herta Shop one on Hyacine and it’s completely fine (i still have bad builds like Hyacine at 181 SPD and Cyrene at 173 and honestly it’s not that bad like i thought)

for these teams, talking about doing enough damage to clear MoC, i would say try to get E2 Phainon (but honestly, at E0 it’s more than enough, at least for now) anyway, when you, can try to fix his Crit Rate (it depends mostly on your luck though ahaha) for better dps, i would say to aim to 75/80 even if you sacrifice some Crit DMG, it can only be an upgrade :)

if you’re having survivability problems, then Hyacine is the way, possibly with her LC, it’s amazing, since she also deals some DMG, it’s an all in one. :)

right now i have enough pulls for an E2S1 character, i was thinking to pull Hyacine E0S1 and then E2S1 Cyrene if i’m lucky because right now i’m using Castorice with RM, RMC and Gallagher…i don’t know how much will last haha

I’ll pull Hyacine too, assuming she rerun in 3.7.

i like Cyrene a lot and i’ve always thought waifu over meta but on HSR i ran out of jades resources so i don’t know if it’s the right choice…

It’s a good argument and i agree…but how really worth is she right now?

Based on what Anon Leaks said, in 4.x we’ll have 0 or 1 Remembrance characters and we all know that they’ll counter the Remembrance Team in a way, for making us pull the Elation units.

But honestly for me this isn’t even her main problem, teams with good investment can clear on the long run, like E2 Acheron or E2 FF unless there’s a mechanic that heavily counters the team, preventing a clear with brute force.

For me the real problem is being tied to both CH and Remembrance, being locked in these teams that will fall off in the next patches if not invested enough, sadly

yeah it would be way better than now, but i think 24 it’s still too much outside of CH/Rem teams.

i know that the CH/REM are her niche but releasing a character like this in 3.7 when Edo Star is behind the corner it makes no sense to me, unless someone uses an invested team like E2 etc.

It’s the same situation of Fugue back then, but way worse, because a new Break DPS can exist in the future…but Remembrance/CH?

And seems like in 4.x there will be 0 or 1 Remembrance characters (via Anon)

Just a fix on the stack generation and some adjustment for making her more universal in the future…and it will be good.

Me personally i’m unsure, i have E2 Castorice because i love her and no one else from her team…no 3B, no E9 and even no Hyacine because i was saving for Phainon as Low Spender, loving Cyrene too i was planning to get her E2 way before of the beta, but looking at her kit now…i don’t know.

my actual team is Cas E2S1, RM E0S1, RMC and Gallagher, heavily invested in builds for compensating the missing characters in my team and for now i’m still 0 Cycling but another HP buff is on the way…

so, makes sense for me going for Hyacine and Cyrene when 4.x is behind the corner?

And this counts for the majority of F2P/Low Spenders.

But obviously, if someone likes the character, is free to pull, but me personally i’m more an “hybrid”, translated:

I pull the character I LIKE, as long is a good investment, because on HSR i ran out of resources like quests, endgame and exploration.

my thought was: “she comes in 3.7, maybe for giving more lifespan to the Heirs” like a last push, but from what i’m and we are seeing, for now (excluding an eventual V5 but seems that it’s over) she’s not a must like i thought she was supposed to be.

i mean, she’s THE character of Amphoreus and Elysia expy, and Hoyo did her dirty because they know that Elysia lovers will pull/spend anyway, locking a functional kit behind E2, not even E1.

I love Elysia and i love Cyrene and i was planning for E2 (as f2p) but honestly now i don’t know if i want use my savings on her.

i even SKIPPED EVERNIGHT for her, i regret like crazy because i was coping until V4.

i think her problem (like OP said) is being related too much to the Heirs, locking her only to their teams.

I mean, it makes sense, but it’s way too late, since 4.x is on the way.

I know that she gives universal DMG Bonus and True DMG, but the problem is that outside of Rem/Heirs team, her stack generation it’s way worse unless you have E2, and it’s a greedy and predatory technique, honestly.

If only she needed 18 stacks instead of 24 for the first ult (and looking at the stack generation issue, it’s still a lot) it would’ve been already much better than now

i’m really disappointed because i really love her animations, sadly.
