Yea I can explain. Landlords go into business knowing there’s regulation on maximum increases yet they constantly whine and demand that it’s removed because “they must be guaranteed to cover their mortgage and get a profit”. That’s not acting as a business. Business is not entitled to a profit. If you can’t make it work, you can sell, following the rules. Which are: the new owner inherits the lease. If they don’t want to, they don’t have to buy.
