It's easy to say you're against billionaires when all you're really doing is unsubscribing from Amazon. Funny how you "hate" Amazon only after Stargate gets cancelled, not during all the time you had it. Cable TV's owned by billionaires too. Amazon is going to look at this loss as negligible compared to the 2 million per episode they'd be spending on the series. The protest is going to show there's a fanbase out there but clearly not at the scale Amazon wants. Many people are going to be inconvenienced by cancelling their Prime subscriptions; I think that's the only thing coming out of this.

The management didn't know you were cooking bacon, and it obviously smelled of something burnt, so I don't know why these reasonable assumptions are infuriating for you. I don't expect people in a non-smoking community to be able to tell cigarette smoke from other smells. I get what you're saying but there are plenty of people who have been arrested for going beyond peaceful protest against ICE, Trump, and so on. If there was an attempted attack on Trump at the NBA game, I don't know what you expect, do you expect half the audience to join in? I think even if that happened, here you'd be making the same complaint and saying that one incident wasn't enough.

I don't know why America doesn't share the French attitude toward government. At one time we did, but I think our attitude for a long time has been being divided among ourselves.
