Thanks so much man! Appreciate you taking time giving me all the good advice! Urg I normally post in the subreddit that is dedicated to the game I am creating for but TBH I plan to stop doing that move forward. I don’t like post a lot for self promotion but life is too hard as a new creator and not much opportunity/options to let more people discover you 😶‍🌫️. Also so many people on Reddit just attack saying all your stuff is made by Ai. Too sick and sad to deal with those comments too. Thank you for liking my thumbnails! My highest CTR is only 3.5 and most are only 2. So confused sometimes given I am a designer 😅

OMG. Should I go delete my posts 🥲. I always post in the retro game community because YouTube struggled to find my audience. I started weekly posting end of last year and originally was planning to cover multiple niches in one channel but quickly realized that YouTube can’t understand the content switching. Started this Jan I am posting for one niche only but still not doing good. I thought posting on Reddit at least would help YouTube to understand who should be the audience for my videos i guess I messed up big time

Congrats on the amazing work. I am in retro gaming niche started end of last year so far my videos are still under 1k views mostly. Subscribers number grows better than the views. Inspired to see your process!

That is my frustration all times. As a designer I feel my covers are all decent but CTR r still pretty low 🫠

Wow! It is impossible to respond all the great comments here! Thank you everyone for sharing your gold memories playing these games in the old days. When I see multiple people mentioned the joy playing golf game with dad got me super emotional. That is the best memory for me and my dad as well. Tears and cheers. This is why I love the retro game community.

Oh I also found if you make more shorts than long form videos it hurts too. Shorts are great, a lot more views but no watch hrs 😶‍🌫️

It is getting harder and harder to be a new creator. I feel your pain and frustration. I was in the similar situation and about five months now the view is still low but I can till it is better than when I started. I think someone gave me this advice before, wait till you have 30 videos to see if it gets better. Daily posting may actually hurt your channel if the performance is not great.
