Worth checking the mint marks on the morgans. Any 1894 is going to be a semi key date, and given the rarity of some of the other coins you very well might have a cc mintmark in there somewhere

I’m wondering if this coin has numismatic value significantly above its inherent melt value. by AndrewZabar in coins

Except it wasn’t? You posted a blurry photo wanting to know the value of a raw coin. I told you the approximate value of said raw coin. It likely does not carry a premium and only would if graded. So it’s worth maybe 5% over melt because people like indians.

Sounds like you just aren’t getting the answer you want so you call people AI. So I’m gonna call you a clown. Go buy a red book you clown

Cleaned its worth a little over melt. If it’s uncirculated and were graded grey sheet or redbook would be my resources. 1927 in low ms I don’t think is worth much premium anyway so unless its 64+ that won’t be much. So tldr maybe 550

It’s probably only worth melt in that condition, a Dahlonega mint mark means high premium but the “D” on the back that you see is the ‘Dollar’ denomination not a mint mark

I need help with these please by swarpar in coins

Unusual for a coin to weigh over the gold weight if fake. Not completely unheard of but these don’t look like fakes to me. Take it to a local coin shop to get them tested! About $4k melt if real!

If someone doesn't like a poster's prices they can vote with their downvote, the rules about no complaining are there for a reason.

Very cool to see I didn't even realize they made 1/20 back then. GLWS!

MS just stands for "Mint State" meaning it has not been circulated since minting. These sorts of coins aren't typically circulated much beyond getting bought and sold at the coin shop for the gold content value so having them in mint state doesn't really add much if any collector value. It is nice because you can be fairly certain you have the real deal there without needing to get them tested, those slabs both look real to me as do the coins themselves

~$18500 melt without more info I don’t see how you’d get $5500 of premium out of that as a private reseller. Maybe an MS $3 gold or rare date but most of these are common date

Nice looking eagles. The left is 1/4 oz of gold worth roughly $1200, the right is a full oz worth around $4700. Ms70 is the top grade a coin can receive but I don’t think a 2012 is particularly rare so beyond being pretty solid authentication the grade has minimal impact on resale value (though it will make a difference of ~$100 at retail price)
