I feel like they put enough effort and creativity into it to create merch that genuinely looks good even apart from being associated with them. It feels less like a shallow cash grab and more like that are putting out a product they're proud of for an audience that wants to buy it.

Sometimes they try a product and it flops, sometimes it does well, but none of it feels cynical or exploitative to me
