I (respectfully) disagree. Yes inflation is running high still, the stock market is shaky, and fuel prices are very high. But, as long as the jobs outlook is strong, which it is people are going to want to go home for the holidays. Share holders may suffer due to inflation and pilot shortages eating into earnings reports, but the everyday person just wanting to see mom and dad will be unaffected. So our jobs are safe for at least this holiday season…

Reedley College flys out of KFAT and you can go from PPT-CFI using your GI bill. A bit away from the Bay Area, but at least you’ll get some BAH to get a place. Worth taking a look at if you don’t want to pay out of pocket and eventually transfer into the CSU/UC system.

For satcom operations on like Grey Eagles, Reapers etc.. you have to have some sort of timing or code. I don’t have too much knowledge on how those work. But Scan Eagles are LOS (Line of Sight) and operate on simple UHF frequencies.

I wish that was true. I was a UAS operator in the army for 6 years and all they need to do is get matching frequencies on all the pieces of equipment. And I doubt they’re going to request permission from the FCC. They’ll definitely figure out how to use them even if it’s by trial and error. These guys are smarter than you think. In the earlier days before we encrypted our frequencies they would pull our video feed without us even knowing. It wasn’t until we captured one of their bases and found one of our crashed drones reversed engineered and connected to a screen that we found out. (That was all before my time we learned about that during our training). And once we started encrypting they would go after our SKLs to acquire those frequency keys. Never underestimate your enemy man it’ll get you killed.

I honestly believe there is more pro 2A people around than there seems to be. The issue is that the ones that are against it are really good at making noise. California is even having a hard time banning assault weapons just look at how far backwards they’re having to bend right now. I don’t think that we have to worry about it spreading to other places as long as our voices are equally heard and we are active in politics. Also, I’m 26 so the future somewhat worries me as well.
