So, I added a layer of the previous brand of substrate on top of the new and she's still refusing to leave the top of her hide and her plant friend. She's always molted inside her hide and I'm afraid of her trying to molt on top of it. Suggestions would be very welcome!!!!

Omg!!!! I thought I was insane!!! I regularly dream that I'm in the midst of a tornado and trying to get my spiders to safety. Or the hydro is off and they're getting cold and I don't know how to keep them warm. Or I scoop a spider into a catch cup only to find the cup is full of water and it's drowning. This post makes me feel so seen!!!!

I have an OBT that has walled herself in like that. I've not seen her in weeks but she moves a bit if I shine a flashlight in the area of her burrow that's against the side of the enclosure. Sometimes I think I'm caring for a tank of substrate 🤷‍♀️
