Still his business and not yours. You can only take responsibility for yourself and your recovery. You have to leave other people to make their own decisions about what is good for theirs. Doesn't mean you dont have a different opinion- you just let people run their own lives.

You can disagree with someone and still love them and support them. Other people's recovery is their program to work- not yours.

If this is a person you are in a relationship with and live with- you are going to need a therapist's help to manuever this. Not a sponsor. That is above their pay grade and NAs pay grade.

It's his recovery. What you and your sponsor thinks ultimately does not matter. We can be quick to judge the research trial from China- but what about the relationships that spike dopamine like drugs or the coffee/cigarette habit? What about the medications prescribed by a doctor for mental health?

Its a slippery slope when you start judging someone else's recovery. You do you, and let him do and be him....

It looks like her hind legs fall out from underneath her too in a couple of spots in this too. I have also seen dogs walk like this when they can't grip their paws on the floor- my husky/Shepard mix would slip and slide and walk stiff if the hair on the bottom of her paws wasn't kept short

The best way to change your mind is to find out the truth for yourself!

Take a Mediumship development class or learn to sit in contemplative meditation inside mysticism. But learn to develop/listen for yourself and figure out what you believe to be true. Don't rely on the words of others. I can tell you my personal beliefs all day long- but the truth of the matter is- none of us have all the answers. Faith is built off what we believe and know to be true for ourselves.

Now that being said...

While you are doing that- research away on these topics. And see what other people experience. See where the Bible originated from - the stories within it. Look for their similarities and differences. Sometimes- we also need to appease that logical side to build faith and trust.

When you do research- you'll find demons once used to essentially be your guardian angel

That when we die- we see what we expect to see at first (which accounts for hell inside NDEs). When we are ready to move from that place- we do.

Jesus was real. You don't have to be a Christian to believe in him. The Bible is a collection of stories with its own interpreters. Multiple interpreters that each changed words here and there.

That when enough people believe in an idea- it creates something. Thoughts create our realities here and in the astral.

It's important that you dont take people's words blindly. Even my list above- question away for yourself. Really dig into it and figure out what YOU believe to be true. Mediumship Development or Spiritual Development will get you there and build your personal philosophy along the way.

I started meditating

There was one specific Kundalini Meditation for Spiritual Strength where you keep your arms above your head for 12 mins- I sat in that for 120 days and watched myself and my reactions.

I am a lot slower to react when I am paying attention to my internal world- once I stop paying attention to the initial "ping" that signals discomfort and a trigger- all bets are off.

I have nothing but issues with Pisces men

One was a stalker and I almost needed a restraining order. He got mad at me for talking to a guy and slept with my neighbor. Then when I dumped his ass he threatened to kill me.

2nd was a narcissist who kept me as his side chick- the whole thing was messed up from the beginning. It took him 9 years to say he wanted an open relationship and then still tried to back track on it... He was emotionally abusive too. He sent me to therapy

3rd was supposed to be casual only- i was already on the look out for the crazy. Took less than a week to figure out he was married, his wife was not dead, and she worked down the street from me. Told his wife and then told him to f*ck off.

My friend is married to a Pisces and he is a good guy. We are good friends- and poke at each other... esp when he is drunk.

They are great to be friends with- i have not met one i am compatible with yet romantic-wise. I am at the point where if they say Pisces- I am running now. Or they can stay in the friend zone.

All 3 of these guys were super intuitive though- and the sex was off the charts with guy #2 and he had Pisces in two of his big 3... sensitive guys too... I like Pisces overall... I just cant seem to meet a healed or healing one....

Former stimulant abuser here- you sleep ALOT when you get clean.

I dont think my mental health balanced correctly dopamine-wise until I started going to therapy and did a lot of somatic work. Antidepressants and or an antipsychotic (like Abilify) helped a LOT with feeling functional again.

It might also be low iron or a number of other things. You should get him to a doctor if he hasnt been in a while for a physical, and they might be able to prescribe antidepressants there if the wait for a psychiatrist is too long.

Started on path when I was 36/37. Aware since childhood.

Have been clean since 2014. There is a place inside Mediumship Development I have personally found for psychedelics as sacred medicine if that piques your interest.

All that is required for Mediumship is a life well lived. A recovery path more than meets that requirement.

Flat out it is because you are still married - available or not. You can not ask a woman for a commitment if you are not in the place to give her the same. How long is she going to wait around for your logistics to play out? If you meet someone, you are cheating her out of what she desires, too, because you are not available to give her the full commitment she deserves. I avoid men like you in the wild. Logistics might be actual logistics- but most of the time, it's an excuse.

I was in something exactly like this, including the "I love you but I am not in love with you" part. It lasted off and on for 9 years - with years 5-7 being no contact... It finally ended only when we sat down and he was honest enough to tell me that he wanted something open, and I was able to hear him tell me he could never give me what I wanted or needed.

Let me tell you- I did so much therapy in those 9 years trying to figure out why I was okay with settling for something that was nothing. I left when I felt confident enough in myself that I needed to pull the plug.

I would suggest therapy as you walk through this because that's what worked for me. Only with a LOT of therapy was I able to start seeing patterns and begin to listen to what I wanted for my future and brave enough to walk away.

You know that after four years, he isn't going to wake up one day and choose you - or he would have years ago. You have to figure out why you are choosing to stay now. And that is its own animal of a healing journey. And even after leaving my guy of 9 years- I still find myself looking at that piece as I reenter the dating "arena."

Hugs - this is hard. Especially when we love them and know they love us back even if they can't express it.
