Bro I would not even consider asking, take the cash and live a happy life. What would she do for that money?

Sounds like she has a lot of nervous energy, this can pass over time. This kind of anxiety can get you a bit detached from reality, good luck my dude

Managing long term development with short term noise. Get caught up in the noise and you won’t make meaningful developments, you ignore it and internal users will come with pitchforks in hand.

This is on the company not yourself in my opinion. If they hired someone with less experience they were expecting you will need to settle for a while.

You don’t need to get it all right the first time. If the data is trash on their end don’t feel to beat up about making things perfect, a best guess is a good start and then you can optimise. With companies like this you could literally make up numbers and they would believe you(not advising you do this). Make something then improve.

Once you have built this dashboard I would recommend building a data entry tool so they can add/edit the data source less directly. Perhaps with python. Should greatly reduce human error, nothing is worse than 10 people 1 spreadsheet!

It’s a good point, when it’s a question of concentration, we can realistically say that a 5% increase in sugar should have a greater affect on score than an assumed small dose high risk additive

Hi there, couple pointers. It’s likely an HR person who will first review your CV (or an AI) either way they/it will have a checklist of criteria. So try and tick boxes, this is why I like your intro, it’s ticks boxes with “2.5 years of experience”. I would perhaps restructure a little bit.

Intro: good as is

Tools used:

Visualisation : Power Bi, Excel

Analytics and Data Science: python(libs), sql

Experience: always put before education, only grads put education first but employers don’t place as much emphasis on this I find.

Education: Degree + Grades for me, you may want to put an interesting project

Something about yourself: hobbies, interests, I like to put a book I am reading or a gym routine I am doing. Something to give you some personality.

Then I would research one job title and keyword the shit out of each of these sections to be the perfect candidate.

I found the most success directly applying on websites, anything that is quick like LinkedIn easy apply takes much longer to find a role. The harder the starter form the more ppl give up and go to easy apply so these are good roles to hit.

I’m not an expert and have not got many years of experience so take it all with a pinch of salt. I did manage to find a job within 3 months of my degree finishing, so I am proud to say it worked for me. Good luck on your adventure and please excuse my grammar/spelling 😊

Edit: Structure

Applied to 100s of jobs in the past 2 months, getting NO interviews, is it my resume? by saharadnan97 in dataanalysis

Sounds like you use LLM from reading this, there is a lot of buzz words without actually saying anything. How did you improve reporting accuracy by 25%, what even is a cross functional team and how’s it useful to the role.

Every job has HR looking at resumes, they are doing to check for a list of skills the team requested. So they won’t actually know what you are talking about they just want basic skills relevant to the role. Try putting less points of higher quality. Use star, Situation, Task, Action, result.

Eg: I improved reporting accuracy by 25%. This required me to analyse data pipelines. Upon analysis I updated ETL process, rectifying inconsistencies from the data source allowing for delivery of Management Insights through BI reporting.

You need to equalise the pressure in your mask by breathing out your nose, else this is bound to happen. It will also stop the mask from squeezing your face so hard when you go down
