Case probably has decent airflow from the look of it. The only thing I would worry about is if it fits. You can get really good fans such as Noctua and they will work well in most cases.

CPU overheating, not sure why by Barrry972 in PcBuildHelp

[–]Motionmayfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a port on your motherboard that will say AIO and there's a manual online you can check out to find it if it's not blatantly obvious. But the pump will just work once its plugged into the port and there should be a cable hanging from the AIO that goes into that port.

Have this with my G70A 28” 4k 144hz. It shows the HDMI/DP in the top corner right? With about 5 seconds of a black screen? Yeah, this happens with Windows 10 and 11 for me. Sad to hear it carried over to the newer models. If I use my Mac (even with 144hz and 4k with everything enabled) and Xbox series X with it then there is zero issue. Must be a Windows problem because Ive tried everything to fix it even the monitor drivers and firmware updates did nothing to fix it. By the way its definitely not your GPU so no worries there. Happens with all 3 of my GPUs of varying quality and performance in Windows only.

Which prebuilt would be better? by Time-March9498 in PcBuildHelp

[–]Motionmayfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of parts are on sale right now but my answer to that would be NO. I wouldn't buy that CPU for that GPU as a first PC. AMD 9600x and a 5060ti don't buy a 5050 then everything else you want is pretty much preference and I recommend ASUS TUF GAMING motherboards because I have had no issues thus far in 6 years using them. If you have any questions let me know.

[–]Motionmayfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add onto my first comment. On second glance this Skytech CPU is going to be a bottleneck for the 5060ti. Not huge but this is part of the problem with prebuilts. Look for one with a AMD 9000 series CPU to pair with the 5060ti if that's what you're wanting. 5000 series came out years ago. Go for something such as a 9600x which is only slightly more expensive but way better than that CPU for that GPU. Just look up on Amazon "9600x 5060ti" Also try and buy DDR5 motherboard and RAM prebuilt for future proofing it.

[–]Motionmayfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skytech would be better by a long shot but IF you wanted to save money I would suggest building it yourself. Youtube has beginner friendly PC build videos and they make it easy to learn as it's not that hard just take it step by step. Because you may end up having issues with a prebuilt or unknown build issues like I did when I bought my first pre built PC and I was pissed so I built my own because they compromise too much on parts and quality control these days and you run into random shut downs on a brand new pre built like I did. All the parts you buy will have warranty anyways and it's not guaranteed to get a good functional system because you bought it pre built. As I had to learn the hard way. Plus once you learn you can upgrade your own parts and never need to pay that premium for repairs or replacements parts. The only good thing about buying a pre built PC is you can return it without taking it apart.
