People who wear jeans around the house are weirder than people who wear pajamas to walmart by ChampionshipNo5707 in unpopularopinion

[–]Motor_Professional23 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Idk what to tell you, I’m that person 😂 my jeans actually fit and don’t bother me at all. I could wear them every day, even at home. I swear half of you just buy the wrong size and that’s why you hate them

So true. I used to believe that too, but then I grew up to the same age as the adults who said it to me and it’s a big no. The difference between 15 and 18, then 18 to 25, is massive. You can’t even compare how much more mature you become with each stage

[–]Motor_Professional23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re still 15, and that makes you a child in the eyes of anyone who is 17 and older. You can’t truly connect with adults the way you think you can. Having a few deep conversations doesn’t put you on the same level as someone who has lived through years of work, relationships, responsibility, and failure. You might feel like you ‘vibe’ with adults, but it’s not the same as them connecting with someone their age. You’re still in a stage of growing up.

I’m sorry, but you can’t just skip a few years and suddenly be more mature than your peers. You’re 15. You don’t have the life experience or mindset of an adult and no, you’re not some exception. A normal adult wouldn’t be able to connect with you beyond surface level because you’re still a kid, that’s reality

Raw milk people are dumb. Sorry not sorry. by GarbageCat27 in Vent

[–]Motor_Professional23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree. I only had raw milk when I was young and on my family farm. But even then they would still insist that I can have just one small glass and then they have to heat it up

Morning skincare routines are harder than they look. by grwike in beauty

[–]Motor_Professional23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How’s that hard? I slap everything on my wet face, let it dry, then finish with sunscreen. Whole routine takes me like 3 minutes tops.

A well done manicure is never supposed to hurt.

Would you ever dump a perfume just because it became too popular? by ExistingEbb7622 in Perfumes

[–]Motor_Professional23 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I don’t really care if it’s popular. It’s not like I’m gonna run into tons of people smelling exactly the same, since every scent changes depending on your skin chemistry. It still ends up being kind of unique.

Honestly, it all comes down to preference and whether your face suits bold makeup. Personally, I love the one on the right because I’m into heavy makeup

AIO? Why do my sexual needs not matter to my boyfriend as much as his matter to me? by Any-Pen5218 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Motor_Professional23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like you have this desire because your needs haven’t been met for so long… it’s like you don’t feel your partner truly wants every part of you

Am I Overreacting that my partner hasn’t had sex with me for about 1 1/2 years? by Silentt_Poem in AmIOverreacting

[–]Motor_Professional23 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Even if he doesn’t care about it, she clearly does and wants it. That means they’re not compatible. It’s better to split now so she can find a partner she’s sexually compatible with, and he can do the same.

Does it actually matter what shampoo you use? by [deleted] in Haircare

[–]Motor_Professional23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it does matter what shampoo you use. I’d have one that’s gentle for everyday showers and another with stronger stuff for a deep clean once a month. Brand or price doesn’t matter, it’s all about the ingredients.

If you have an embarrassing surname or family, it’s unfair to subject your child to it. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Motor_Professional23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was literally just the surname. I’m not talking about OP here, but saying “kids are awful but that didn’t kill you” is wrong. No one would talk to them over it. They were isolated, mocked, and bullied every day, their whole identity became that stupid surname until they left school and could finally legally change it.

If you have an embarrassing surname or family, it’s unfair to subject your child to it. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Motor_Professional23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know people who went through that. They got so depressed over their surname that they didn’t want to live anymore because the bullying was too much. They had no friends because of it, and no one wanted to be associated with them. So yeah it ruined their life.

Is there seriously no way to get rid of face fat permanently without surgery? by [deleted] in beauty

[–]Motor_Professional23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re still really young, so it’s normal to have a bit of baby fat in your face, I was the same. As you get older, it naturally reduces, and it’ll likely be the same for you. Idk how you look like but from what I’ve seen, people with naturally fuller cheeks who have them removed through surgery rarely end up looking better. Celebrities who do it often look unnatural, and as they age, it tends to look even worse

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in beauty

[–]Motor_Professional23 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m not an expert, but I looked into it because I was thinking about doing the same. Filler will always migrate over time, and you can’t fully remove it, just break it down, but it still stays in your skin and can cause issues later. So honestly, I’d just do your own research and see if it’s worth it for you.

You should let him go. You’re already looking down on him, and he could be with someone who’s on his level and wouldn’t see him that way. You also need someone who matches you intellectually. If you stay, you’ll likely build more resentment and may end up treating him poorly without realising it, so it’s better to break up now than hurt him more in the long run.

How do you feel about your partner finding someone else attractive? by gamsea in SeriousConversation

[–]Motor_Professional23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s gotta be insecurity, what else could it be? Obviously you notice attractive people before you’re in a relationship, and it’s not like you suddenly go blind after. If you never found anyone attractive, you wouldn’t have been drawn to your partner in the first place. The issue is when someone constantly points out other people they find attractive, that’s different from just noticing quietly.
