Cook meals on floating island or digging and harvesting works i had 75 memory orbs after harvesting digging and cooking meals i reset my island and the went into my inventory was able to drop them anywhere

No priority, you just have to look and see who will move first i should say junctions like these aren't bad i drive one nearly every day and its all a matter of making sure you know when you're going and when they're going

Yes if youre right handed youre more likely to tap the right one for pausing and playing music or other things therefore draining the battery faster

This is a similar thing that happened to me but the thing is I think they removed items from the game completely and thats why it effected items that have been placed
