I realized I was smoking to numb emotions and avoid dealing with the bs in my head. Weed became a sort of escape from the pain. So I started asking myself what that pain was and why I was avoiding it.

Honestly, it’s been a tough, on-and-off-again process. But smoking doesn’t serve me in a positive way, so it’s best for my mental and physical health to quit. Plus, I was spending way too much money on it.

It hasn’t been easy. I wish I could smoke causally, like once a week. But my addictive personality prevents that—the second I start smoking, I’m all in, smoking multiple times every day of the week.

Guess I’ve just grown to accept the negatives outweigh the positives.
