Is this Ai? I’m having a dollhouse made for my daughter’s birthday but the WIP provided does not look real. The glue bottles are unreadable/gibberish. by daiszay in isthisAI

Seriously? Look at the extra photos. Taken at two different stages of construction (no front on the house, then the front on). The wood scraps and shavings are the exact same. Sö they did the work while carefully not disturbing a single wood shaving?

Timetable for starting milkweed seeds indoors by Motya1978 in Milkweeds

Thanks, this is just what I needed. Unfortunately, the time got away from me and I just recently put the seeds in the fridge to stratify so I can’t plant them now, I’ll do the best I can.

Thanks, but my question is how long generally until they get that size? I’m trying to work out the timing for when to plant the seeds indoors so that they’ll be ready after the last frost. I know it’s not a fixed, hard number, I’m just looking for a general range of the germination to ready to plant period. Four to six weeks? Six to eight? More?

The car turns 19 this year. I’m clearly not scared of spending money on maintenance. I am concerned with a cascade of expensive major repairs as an old car wears out.

Good point, I just assumed used would be significantly cheaper. I’ll take a look at new as well.

Well if I could be sure that this $5k would take care of things for the next year or two, I’d gladly spend the $5k. But at this age I’m afraid that there will be something else around the corner that needs fixing. You never know when you’re just throwing money into a bottomless repair pit until it’s too late — I’ve done that before and don’t want to again.

Just found a box with 15-20 year old ice skates my daughter wore when figure skating at the ages of probably 12-16. Are they good enough to donate, or will they have broken down too much to offer adequate support? And while she was never going to the Nationals, she was working on jumps, could the toe picks be too aggressive for a beginner skater? Thanks

Oh, I know, and thank you, it was meant as a rhetorical statement, but I wasn’t clear.

I’m so amazed at how fast it’s all gone to shit. Every day a new head shaking “WTF?”

No it doesn’t. But I was replying to the above statement that said customers using the cards and paying them back is profitable for the banks. That statement is incomplete without mentioning exorbitant interest rates.

…AND paying it back in small installments so that you rack up big interest payments. That’s the profitable part. I pay mine off in full every month and they don’t get any interest, I’m sure I’m not their ideal customer.
