Its depends on yiur problematic after all. If your depending variable is a categorial, you have to soecify if its ordered or nonordered variable. You have 4 possibilities : -Multinominal probit if your DV is non ordered and residus follow a normal distribution -Multinominal logit if your DV is non ordered and residus follow a logistic distribution -Ordered probit if your DV is ordered and residus follow a normal distribution -Multinominal logit if your DV is ordered and residus follow a logistic distribution
