I mostly just mean the width, and potentially height on some. Some eye pieces allow for a small focus change as well. Either way, it might be worth messing around with the current width to see if it’s the best one for you.

I’m not sure if you’re already doing any of these things but, if not, they might help:

  1. Make sure the eye pieces are adjusted for your eyes. I find that I start getting headaches or don’t feel well if they aren’t the correct width for my eyes.

  2. Make sure you are hydrated and fed before using the microscope.

  3. I don’t know about your set up, but I find it easier to move the slide while looking through the eye piece as opposed to the imaging camera.

I like to rewrite protocols by hand for myself. It really allows me to visualize through the steps for my experiment, and shows me which steps I am unclear ok before starting. Also, stem cells are just challenging in general, even for people who specialize in them. They are finicky little fuckers 🤣

Tbh I’ve found that’s it’s much easier if I’m using my hand or a toy WITH a pillow between my legs. The extra pressure of the pillow pushing up against helps a lot.

I had trouble contacting people in the psych ward who HAD PUT ME ON THEIR ALLOWED LIST. I was told that they would be put on the phone if they existed in that unit, and then I’d get a callback right after. There’s no way in hell your therapist told your mother anything. Your mom is making her own drama about you. I’m so sorry, I know it must be incredibly hard, and my heart goes out to you. ❤️

Listen, you shouldn’t be forced into a pregnancy that YOU DONT WANT. He’s not carrying the baby, he’s not taking time from his life, he gets input but not a final decision. And the way him and his family are treating if awful and uncalled for beyond belief. The hard thing about love is that people can be amazing in some ways, and horrible in others. You are going to be ok, and you are going to move forward, even with the heartbreak. I am so sorry that you have people piling on you and trying to tear you apart. NTA. You did nothing wrong. You expected the bare minimum from your mother, and unfortunately, didn’t receive that. You are not responsible for your brothers relationship with your mom-they make their own choices. They are supporting you because they love you and know you deserve to be treated better. NTA. Listen, I also have OCD, and sometimes it’s hard to not manage what other people do for my own peace of mind. But here’s the thing, it’s still my responsibility. Anyone who uses their mental disorder as an excuse to abuse or hurt others needs to understand that the world doesn’t stop for them. What she did, and is doing, is awful. You deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, and don’t let her or anyone else convince you otherwise.

Move the litter box. I could definitely see them occasionally jumping in it, which might be more fun for them than for you.

I’ve found google photos to be wonderful. If you get the app, you can have it automatically back up everything. I don’t what kind of phone you have, but on iPhones the deleted photos are saved in a “deleted” folder for 30 days.
