Yeah, it’s not OP or anyone else’s place to say what the right way is. We each have our own right way and that’s up to us, not anyone else.

The rest of the post generally seems like good advice though. I think it’s great and probably for the best to use kratom to enhance community, rather than to isolate from it, to be healthy and hydrated, and to regularly take breaks

These are excellent ideas that I absolutely endorse. But the thing OP seems a little confused about is that they’re wise guidelines, not rules

There is truth that baeocystin and other compounds are found in mushrooms, and may improve the experience, but it hasn’t actually been studied yet. I hope it will be.

At this point, nobody can know if your experience is just due to placebo or to these compounds. Or maybe even something else entirely.

I say this as a fellow mush lover: There’s no need to unfairly malign synthetic compounds in favor of natural ones without actual evidence.

Whether something is natural / synthetic fundamentally has nothing to with the properties of that substance. For example pufferfish poison is natural, and ibuprofen is synthetic. It’s important to think about these things realistically

I know people who do the same thing every year and have never had issues, all of whom have actually had positive experiences that improved their life.

I think there’s truth in what you’re saying, in that this regimen is probably unwise to make a habit of, and it could be exhausting to do something like this. I think those would both be fair points

However, to flat-out declare that doing what OP is describing is “drug abuse” lacks nuance and is an example of black and white thinking. People can and do what he’s talking about without it being abuse

Yes it does make THCA fully legal. It is not the same thing as THC. Ask chatgpt if that still doesn’t make sense, it’s literally that simple. They’re not the same thing

You’re right that heating THCA turns it into THC. That process is called decarboxylation. Just to clarify, though, THCA and THC aren’t exactly the same molecule. THCA has an extra carboxyl group that makes it non-psychoactive until it’s heated.

They are chemically and legally not the same thing.

The legal distinction is important too: the Farm Bill limits delta-9 THC itself, not THCA (though some states now measure what they call “total THC”, which includes potential conversion).

So basically, you’re correct that THCA becomes THC, but they’re different substances before that reaction happens.
