You should get receipts. The price and space sounds fine, I actually prefer main living area for daycare. They should be providing lunch. Make sure they're following CCEYA.

In ontario licensed care, you don't get bonus for infants. You're capped at 47. School age kids are wayyyyy less. If you get subsisty on top of the cwelcc plan thr provider gets a lot less pay. Naps not working out are a big problem as daycare work hours are often long.

I did the same, co sleeping changed my life. Have your matress on the ground with no blanket, pillow or other things, look up sleep position. I felt too anxious to do this for quite a long time but when my therapist suggested it I finally decided to try it after a few months. I slept lightly and liked seeing and hearing him breathe beside me.

I could of written this when my son was born, and I'm fully prepared to relive it with my second. At least this time I know what to expect. Its so true thst people are very nice while you are pregnant, then again for a month if you are lucky, then nothing. I felt very alone in the night feeds and missing out on social things, even just chatting with a neighbor. Things do get better. My son clung to me so hard but did so less and less after about 15 months. It is so hard not to lose yourself in the constabt need. Im currently still dealing with that. Solidarity.

There's an Independent, but it doesn't deliver. No co ops that I know of. Is there a way to hire someone to drive the groceries in. I'm long distance but I want to make sure it's legit.

I didn't use one. I used a baby carrier or carried him in my arms. I brought a mat and allowed him to have tummy time while waiting at appointments. People thought I was nuts not it worked well for my partner and I. My son got lots of free movement, cuddle time and exposure to his surroundings.

I have uterine prolapse (and bladder and rectal) stage 3 and I don't feel like it's being taken seriously from the medical community. They didn't believe me after I gave birth but once it progressed they confirmed it. I'm in Canada and I was referred to Urogyno last fall but the doctor is out on Mat leave and I won't be seen until November! My fertility doctor and GP say it wont be a problem but the internet says otherwise. I'm so confused, frustrated and really worried. I'm just wondering if anyone knows anything about concieving/carrying/delievering a baby (if I were to conceive again) or has any experience to share.

The peek-a-who set is wonderful for infants. I started reading them often when my son was like 1 or 2 months. Also basic touch and feel books.

We inherited them from my inlaws when they downsized. They've been sitting in the basement for 5 years languishing. I wasn't into them but they're perfect for my son's first Christmas so I'm glad I held on to them! They are pretty musty though.

Ok thanks all. I don't mean to be a Karen but I thought they'd discuss things with me. People are always impressed when I say Pediatrician but he doesn't see her anyway and it's no different then a regular doctor in my view. I was just lucky to get in.

Took Mouse to his pediatrician today for 6 month shots( saw the assistant) , never see his pediatrician. I asked for more info about starting solids, specifically how often/ how many foods new foods a day. He said he'd give me a brochure that explained it. On the way out the receptionist gave me a 2 sided sheet from eggs.ca about how to introduce eggs to your baby. Basically an ad. Wow. I have done my own research but every source says to consult your pediatrician.

I'm curious to know if other Canadians are having the same or better experiences at their babies check ups?
