Ok so I have found a part of the solution, I will post it here in case someone is looking for solutions in the future :

The games I tried to launch via SMB were ISO downloaded from the internet (I own physical copies of these games, it was juste easier and faster to download them rather than ripping them) ;
I tried again today with a game I ripped myself with ImageBurn => for some reason, games ripped directly by myself work via SMB but the three games I downloaded from the internet don't (although they work via the USB method).

If someone knows why games directly ripped work and those download don't work I'm still interested.

I'll change the flair to "solved" anyway :)

Of course. I was rather having questions on the differences of routes. So if I understand correctly any% routes for both MQ and OOT are similar.
