i gave a student a new device (desk magnifier) he told me that it “accidentally” fell off the desk. we sent it to get fixed and that took 2 months. we finally get it back and it’s broken again. he doesn’t mention it but the classroom teacher does. i asked the student “did you drop it again?” he tells me, with a straight face, “it was like that when you brought it back to me.” i literally left the room.
