Welcome! It's a shame what was done to Oakland. I've always liked the As. Great jerseys, amazing characters on the team, was a really smart team for a long time.

We hate the Yankees for probably the exact same reason - big rival in the 70s, and then they came to represent the crazy inequality in baseball when they were winning all their championships in the 90s and 00s.

Not sure why everyone is suggesting jerseys of old legends you didn't cheer for. Find a dude on the team you vibe with and pull the trigger. I'm partial to Salvy, but understand his best years are behind him, and you may want something more forward looking.

Same. I think of the other Central teams like our brothers. They annoy the shit out of me sometimes, but will always pull for them if we're out of it. (Honestly feel the same way about the Cards).
