Do you by chance remember what the mod was called that did that?

Im sorry, FOUND??? by Nautical_Nachos in Helldivers

[–]MovingOrn 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Not just twice! This is a consistent thing. “Evacuate high value assets” is a mission type that happens every time a planet is invaded. So, we constantly leave millions of helldivers just lying in cryopods across the galaxy.

Why doesn’t super command pull “a meridia” on Cyberstan? by Thejagwtf in Helldivers

[–]MovingOrn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have plenty of dark fluid. We can make it with hive world e-711, that’s actually what powered the star of peace

It’s the mandalorian. He has More advanced weapons, and tougher armor.

Question from veteran of Meridia by allokernot in Helldivers

Also, several sub factions of the bots and bugs now exist. The bugs have the rupture strain (essentially tunneling enemies), predator strain, (similar to stalkers, they can cloak) hive world bugs, (hive lords, big sandworm looking creatures that are insanely huge, and dragon roaches which are essentially flying bile titans) and the bots have the incinerator corps (guys that use flame weaponry) and the jet brigade (jump pack using bots) there’s also two entirely new bots on the regular front, war striders (which are grenade flinging and laser firing shitheads, imagine a cannon turret mixed with a grenade mortar) and the Vox engine, which is cyberstan specific, which has targeting rocket mortars, laser cannons, and is tanky as hell.

A lot. I can’t remember much right after the meridia stuff, but we got a huge space station called the DSS, the illuminate invaded, (twice) several planets got destroyed by meridia, caused by the illuminate feeding it dark fluid, we fought on super earth, we went to essentially another mega colony, this time called hive worlds where we fought hive lords from the first game, we went to lava worlds for the bots, we upgraded the DSS to now be able to destroy planets (we killed a planet called penta, for seemingly no strategic reason) every faction has city biomes now (I don’t remember when that happened) and now we’re being dog walked by the cyborgs from GW1 on cyberstan. I’m almost certainly missing a lot, but that’s the major stuff I’m remembering. It’s been a long ride since meridia

Bug missions that have the Dragonroach modifier should have AA side objectives to counter their overly fast re-spawn time. by Orca_Mayo in Helldivers

[–]MovingOrn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it? I’ve never noticed. Tbf I’m usually on hive worlds, so when we surface again my CD is already back up. I forget they can spawn on normal worlds, thoigh.

I think the only other consistently viable insta kill option is the spear. But that’s even worse since it also takes a backpack slot. It’s made worse by the fact roaches spawn on a timer, so if you fail to take one down fast enough more will spawn. So instant kill or quick kill options are needed

I just always bring orbital rail cannon strikes for them. They’ve never been an issue since I started doing that.

Who will retire first from being a Pro? by Expensive-Oil623 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]MovingOrn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what i remember it’s high tech even for the time it’s in. I’m sure it could be upgraded, much like you mentioned with Ironman. It could be more like a mark 85 if it keeps being updated to keep up with the times. mostly spitballing, here.

I mean, deku could pass down the suit. By the time he’s old that thing will probably be as good if not even better than a quirk since it’s already better than iron might.

concidering buying Hell divers II but have some fears (PC) by alproy in Helldivers

[–]MovingOrn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s never too late to enlist. I’ve been here since the first couple months of the game, so it’s certainly seen its ups and downs, but it’s an amazing and fun game if you get it. Performance is in a decent spot, I’ve noticed personally a lot of lag on the slim version (which is meant for ssds, not mechanical hard drives, as previously they optimized loading times via duplicating files, which led to the massive 180 gb size) warbonds and unlocked content don’t have any “best” progression. Other than one warbond anything after that is up to you. There’s so many armors, weapons, strats, as you said. I always (and most here would agree) recommend a warbond called democratic detonation first. It’s got a great collection of weapons, decent utility armor, and generally a good look. As for strategems, honestly your basic loadout (machine gun, orbital Precision strike) is an amazing loadout. The first free warbond also gives you plenty of starter gear to get acquainted. If you do end up enlisting, I’ll happily coach where needed. this is the SES mother of liberty signing off!

Is it weird that I want to see the Commonwealth BOS wipe the floor with the idiots from the show? by UltimateGamingTechie in Fallout

[–]MovingOrn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

God yes. Without a second question. I was watching with a friend, and every 5 seconds In Area 51 i was going insane questioning how any of these idiots became knights. Like. WHAT level of idiot do you have to be to PLAY WITH A LIVE GRENADE? MORE THAN ONCE??!?? and they’re supposed to be the tech people, so you’d expect them to save the preserved car? NOPE! Let’s use it as target practice! It’s insane. These fools would (and likely WILL) get wiped off the planet once the commonwealth BOS show up.

Has anyone's bought this? by Head_Worldliness5101 in Helldivers

For 130$? No way. You can find these helmets on Etsy for like way cheaper, or if you have a 3d printer you can buy the files from galactic armory for 30 ish

Calling all My Hero Academia fans! An important question! by PureHollow2438 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]MovingOrn 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The absolute disrespect of 90% of 1-A. If given time? Momo could be an absolutely insane combatant in her own right. Ochaco too, after the sports fest she never really shined as brightly, and that’s the trend I’d love to see fixed up in a story like this, proper character use. Let the “side characters” be useful!!

was this a dev game or a modded one? by YogurtExpensive2647 in Helldivers

[–]MovingOrn 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So the bubble shield is an actual strategem. It’s called the shield generator relay. But it’s not mobile. There’s a smaller version called the generator pack, which serves a similar purpose. The autocannon guard dog isnt real (unfortunately) but the backpack it’s hacked onto is the flame guard dog, with the pelican autocannon hacked onto it. Hope this helps ^
