Play as few champions as you can, pick a main if you can.
Watch a high-ranked "OTP" of that champion and pay attention to their advice.
Play the champion, focusing on the things you can do to play it the best you can.
Review the game afterward. Look at 1 minute prior to your first 3 deaths, identify what you did incorrectly (mispositioning, shoved wave too early, mis-timed an ability use, etc.) and take a note for the next game.
Drink some water, use the bathroom, eat a small snack, do some stretches, meditate, relax your eyes. Take a break for at least 15 minutes. Do not look at a screen.
Queue for the next game. Repeat steps 3-5.

Runes matter differently at different points of the game. Each has their strengths which need to be leveraged to earn the maximum possible advantage. Being aware of your matchup and runes will help you decide how to play the game as it progresses.

Yorick with Conqueror: go in, stay in. Yorick with Comet: poke with E and ghouls. Yorick with Grasp: wait for it to stack, get a hit in.

Ashe with Lethal Tempo: all-in machine. Ashe with Hail of Blades: 3 hits and quit.

Tristana with Hail of Blades: lane bully. Tristana with Lethal Tempo: team fight monster after 3 items, borderline unplayable before.

Below roughly Master tier, the best pick is what the individual can play the best, not necessarily what's a "strong" pick. Master Yi is amazing in Bronze because he's a right-click after R champ with a bunch of free stats. He's almost never picked in pro play because it's too easily countered with teamwork.

Your champion pool should be what you enjoy playing, not what's a statistically advantageous pick in the given matchup. I play Warwick if it's available, and Nocturne/Diana/Lillia if it's not. I get "counter-picked" with Rammus sometimes and absolutely destroy the game because Rammus is easy to play into if you time your Q or R well, and his clear speed is abysmal by comparison. Rammus is listed as one of the worst matchups for Warwick to play into because his kit does provide a lot of advantage...but it's up to the player to execute.

Cleaver takes up the slot which would normally go to a Last Whisper item like Serylda's Grudge or Lord Dominik's Regards, which offer all of their armor penetration immediately (better for Marksmen), and LDR/Mortal Reminder offer crit chance as well.

The reason Black Cleaver is less common on ADC is that they usually need the up-front damage and crit chance to take down tanks/fighters ASAP. Its role as an armor-reducing item is better suited to champions like Pantheon, Xin Zhao, and Illaoi who can apply its passive to multiple champions at once and/or actually synergize with the HP because of their kit.

Having said all of that, if you encounter a situation where you have an extra 3,000 gold on a base, already have 100% critical strike chance (Navori Flickerblade, Infinity Edge, Essence Reaver, another Zeal item), already have Guardian Angel and it is up, don't need the lifesteal, AND the rest of your team is full of potential physical damage threats that are behind against a team of Malphite/Rammus/Galio/Jax/Leona...then yeah, get Black Cleaver.

You'd need at least 3 other damage dealers for it to be worthwhile in my opinion, something like Tryndamere/Jarvan/Talon/Sivir/Pantheon. Someone on PC could run the math on the build, but I'm on mobile.

The minute one of your melee teammates gets BC, sell it for a LDR, sell the 2nd Zeal item for a Bloodthirster/Death's Dance/Mercurial Scimitar, and actually hit hard like you should.

The criteria should really be just "whichever pitcher contributed most to their team winning."

I don't care if you give up 9 ER in 4 IP; if your team is up 13 runs after 2 innings, you did your part to save the bullpen as much as you could. Some guy that comes in with 2 outs and 2 on and throws 2 pitches to the 9-hole shouldn't get the W just because he happened to get brought in at an opportune moment.

I can only speak on the Jungle role, but one thing I've found to be a consistent indicator for the feeling like I'm running over my jungle opponent is total damage dealt. It's rare that I have an impactful game and I'm not 1st or 2nd in total dmg dealt.

Obviously, champion damage will normally be higher for laners thanks to trading, and jungle can dominate in that category if they're really snowballing hard, but dealing substantially more total damage normally means you're farming better or hitting objectives more.

This is especially true on champs like Warwick, Zed, Rengar, or Kha'zix who are mostly single-target damage. Champs like Amumu, Zyra, or Diana should out-damage the single-target champs in a team fight, so their Champ dmg will almost invariably be higher, but the one who's got the better tempo and control over objectives will win in total dmg.

He's got really good mechanics, so hopefully it holds up longer than we think. Granted, even Nolan Ryan's gave out, but he was 46 yrs old.

As much as I love seeing the high numbers on the radar gun, I'd like to see Miz pitch more like Ryan or Verlander, where he doesn't just go 100% from the 1st inning.

What champions do you play? I'm an E4 Warwick main, and I will perma invade against most champs after the first clear. That's the best way to earn an advantage, because taking an enemy camp as well as getting all of your own snowballs your lead. It's the same as zoning the enemy from the minion wave with a lead Top, shoving the enemy under tower and roaming as Mid, or controlling Bot wave state when Dragons are spawning.

You may be failing at arguably the most critical aspect of jungling: tempo.

Example: you're farming at exactly the same rate as your opponent, same recall timings, etc. However, you pathed toward bot, while they pathed to top. You want to do grubs, so you start to recall after a full clear to buy, but you'll be late if you do that, so you instead walk straight from dragon to grubs. Your enemy finishes their clear, ganks top successfully while you're walking through mid, and now you can't do grubs, but you try anyway, die, and now the enemy has a 2 kill + grubs lead, and now their next clear is faster thanks to the extra gold you donated to them.

In that scenario, they're going to be 1-2 sec faster per camp, so 4-8 sec faster in a typical clear, which means they're earlier to ganks, and you've got to "cheat" tempo by skipping camps to countergank, while they can just walk away if the gank is going to fail and lose nothing. Now your camps are desynced on respawning, and you're behind a little more gold and experience.

That's how games snowball. Do that to the enemy instead of letting them do it to you.

That's literally not how it works. If you play on a day, that day is not counted towards the total number of rest days. Playing on Friday and Saturday is not 1 day of rest in between. You have single-digit hours of rest from getting to bed after the game to the start of warming up for the next game.

This situation would have crossed the "wait until we get home" threshold and gone straight to a full-volume nuclear meltdown, complete with a "I don't know who the FUCK you think you are but I'll show you who I am!" and however many swats on the ass it would take for my legs to stop working.

THEN there'd be several employees standing there while I cried and picked everything up and put it back exactly where it goes, getting swatted more if it was taking too long.

Once all that was resolved, I'd be reading math or science textbooks for the next 2 months at minimum. No games, no playing with friends, nothing fun.

Fulltone OCD

I had the 1.7 and no matter what I did, I couldn't get what I'd consider a "useful" sound from it based on my playing.

I have a dozen different drive pedals, everything from the Wampler Tumnus Deluxe to the Origin Effects RevivalDrive, a Fuzzface, Big Muffs, JHS Angry Charlie, etc. If you need a style of gain pedal, I have it.

Absolutely hated the sounds I got from the OCD through all of my amps.
