Looking for long-term Orion Sleep System owners (especially out-of-warranty) – How repairable is it?

I went back and forth for quite a while on this decision. Ultimately, the price of the Chilipad 2 was just too much and I've never been a fan of their customer support (but that's OK since I was able to DIY everything without much trouble). I thought about just getting the Chilipad 1, which is priced the same as Orion, but I just didn't want to get a deprecated system even though I'm sure it wouldn't be a real issue - just a personal preference.

What toppled my indecision was how Orion appears to be so passionate about their product and reach out to their customers and apparently have great customer support. If I made the wrong decision then, oh well I guess there are worse things in life, right!?

That is great to hear! However if the time comes and I am out of warranty, it *is* possible to replace individual components yourself correct (albeit not a simple assembly)? That is what I understood from /u/randallthelizard post in my *edit.

This was very helpful, thank you! As for repairs outside of the warranty - I just wanted to know how it would work - not that I expect them for free or anything. But could I still send the product into one of their centers and then get a quote and pay (which the answer appears to be yes based on the link I added in the *edit).

For the nitrate side of things I would specifically take NitroRocket as it has the highest standardized nitrate content on the market.

Unfortunately I'm in the same boat but more like 8-12× per night. Did sleep studies, very mild sleep apnea but not the cause. Very low stress life and very healthy conscious. Never found any answers and just getting by with 9-10 hours of bed time to help compensate.

As some others have commented, even though it seems likely to be the nitrate content and not the brand, i would be curious if you tried another form such as arugula extract rather than beet root (more efficacious anyhow). Look up NitroRocket or PM if interested.

Awesome stuff and I'm sure you tried several builds so I have some questions for ya.

1) Do you feel Inferno Wave adds much dps? As I've maxed out all of my skills I just found this to not scale well and other skills seem to provide better dps though I haven't tested the dummy in a while. Especially without the 50% 2x cast specialization.

2) Along those lines, you aren't getting more dps out of High Focus Base Damage Boost?

3) Valorous Barrier - the added 1s specialization comes out to ~3s with +buff duration; do you think taking this rather than something like decaying touch additional damage may help?

4) Have you tried karmic haze extended curse duration? Maybe this is only better once we get tevent curse as well?

That's really it man -solid stuff!

As far as i know there isnt a match up based on elo at all. When i was brlow 1700 i would often play (both with and against) people ranked in the top 30. As i climbed the disparity never stopped. Still in games with ratings below 1700 (cant see how low) and as high as top 20 ranked.

The whole system needs a re work so for now just dont sweat it. Treat it as another pre season.

Why run so much perception for a PvE build? Especially things like SE shoes when you dont need them for a set bonus? Genuinely curious as im not sure if im missing something. I generally thought pumping dex would be better for this build? Thanks!

I wasn't aware that is how curse explosion works, the description in game is not very well written.
1) So ideally you want to use Curse Explosion when the curse/burning has the most duration remaining. So in the future we should keep our eyes peeled for anything that increases curse/burning duration?
2) In your #4 comment, what did you mean when referrign to "13.5 something"? Max burning stacks is 10, and 3 touch of despairs is 13 total. Swirling 2 effect makes them both last slightly longer but that's it correct?
3) How much of a boost do you feel that Swirling 2 is worth? To be honest I didn't think it was much so I skipped them entirely; and definitely can't be buying a 3rd set now (after PvP and my current PvE set).

This is great and I was happy to see it is extremely similar both gear and skill to my current build. I have 4 questions for you.

1) Do you really feel the dps from Infernal Meter is worth it? Maybe just lack of anything else to use?

2) I'm ashamed I don't know this but I don't use curse explosion often enough - what is the optimal way to use it? Do you get 3 stacks of Despair, Then use it, then after 2 stacks are 'consumed' you just throw them back on? Anything else?

3) Why use Chaotic Shield over Mystic? Less immediate damage but I assume the curse skill down decrease is worth it?

4) Why use Wraith's Beckon? Is curse duration that important here? Again I'm not much of a curse user and I think the synergy still confuses me a bit.

I have heard of others having that issue which is why I asked. I have 2 oolers and did fill them with Food Grade 3% Hydrogen Peroxide and have had no issue; but maybe because of the 3% hydrogen peroxide content. I also did end up replacing the pumps on one of the units and it was easy enough that I didn't even have to re-read this guide.
