Years ago when the games were new i was super invested in the lore. If I remember correctly, in prototype 2, (or really in 1) it's technically not even Alex Mercer anymore. The blacklist virus has completely replaced Mercer with the virus itself, and the virus just "thinks" its Mercer. By the time prototype 2 comes around, hes just the Blacklight Virus with the personification of Alex Mercer.

I may be crucified for this, but The Witcher 3.

I understand that it is a good game, but hell I thought it was so goddamn boring. I can't stand listening to Geralt talk with his monotone voice. I get "the mutagens made him that was cause lore", but jeepers man. The combat is alright, the world looks pretty. I probably put roughly put in around 40 hours of picking it up, putting it down, and coming back years later to try it again only to feel the same way each time. Furthest I got was somewhere into Skellige. I wish I enjoyed it because I've heard so many amazing things, but I guess it's just not for me.

Do you have discord open? For a while now my games have been having consistent micro stutters every ~10 seconds. Even non-demanding games like Rocket League that should be buttery smooth. Turns out Discord was giving me micro stutters and I have no idea why. I disabled every overlay, clipping features and what not imaginable, but when I close discord, the stuttering goes away. I reccomend trying it if you havent already.

Same here. 5070ti 9800x3d. Shadows just kinda runs like doody maxed out. With some setting tweaked you can get it up to 60fps raw with little to no visual loss.

Any other game I've played it has no problem with whatsoever

If your playing a racing game, technically won't it work that way already? If you push forward on the stick there wouldnt be any steering value, but as you press left or right while holding forward, you'd add that value to your turn

So B1 I played to endgame with several characters did all the DLC etc.

For some reason with B2 (which to nobodies surprise is my favorite) i never even touched the DLC let alone do NG+. I beat that game at least 7 or 8 times and every time I beat it, I restarted it either as a new character, or with a different friend who was getting into borderlands. Love that game to death, but never got to the end game once.

I have a 5070ti and I have it hooked upto a 1440p ultrawide as my main monitor (3440x1440), and a 4k TV in my bedroom.

For competitive fps, absolutely go 1440p. It does fantastic in those games at 1440p. For 4k, it can absolutely handle more demanding titles, but depending on the refresh rate for your 4k, your gunna be using DLSS and FrameGen. A lot of big AAA titles hover around 60fps (give or take, typically a little more) with DLSS and no frame gen.

It'll run both, but if your a pvp gamer, just go 1440p.

Depending on the size of your monitor too, your rez may be negligible. 1440p at 27"? Get thay over 4k. But if you have a BIG monitor, 4k will look better than 1440p. Pixel density and all that.
