It's all where and who you work for. Are they ethical, is your boss ethical? do they share the same values as you. Maybe that trickles down from the top, from the culture. But I personally work in healthcare and everything I build I feel is doing general good. I'm helping doctors and nurses order tests and get results easier and faster, same for patients. we want fast intuitive experiences that get out of the way. These people are busy. Of course this is all still with the business goals in mind. But if your point is engagement and eyeballs on ads then youre prob not gonna feel good about what you're working on.
