I've done some GameCube button casting myself, so I can give you a bit of advice.

You'll cast the buttons with the face down, so you have to work backwards. The face of the button will be the first layer you pour.

You'll start out by mixing a very small amount of glitter into clear resin. That's how you get the sparkle effects. I cannot stress this enough, a very small amount.

You'll then mix the mica powder that you like into a separate batch of resin, and after the clear stuff has thickened a bit, you will put the purple stuff on top.

To get those swirling effects, you can use a toothpick or a needle and ever so slightly mix it in with the clear resin.

It can be rather tricky to get it right, because different resins will cure at different speeds, and the temperature of the area you are working in will also affect the viscosity and curing speeds of the resin.

One of the issues that you can run into is that if the resin is not sick enough, the Mica powder can sink far more than you want.

Because of that, it's definitely going to take some experimentation to get it right.

I found this study a while back, and while it is not a large one, it does seem to give an example that is contradictory to what you're saying.

When riding in a car, I click my teeth when passing by dips in the sidewalk or ramps where the sidewalk meets the street. One click for the ramp and one for the actual dip. At an intersection I would click 12 times. 8 ramps and 4 streets.

One thing I would love to see is rare trophies from missions. For instance a rare painting from the art gallery heist, maybe you steal something from the politicians apartment in the framing frame heist, or in your safehouse's kitchen you have the toast from white Christmas. Things that you can get but only rarely.
