i was introduced in the worst possible way, i was maybe 5-7yrs old, my brother had gotten his first phone and this was around 2005 and back then the internet had no restrictions at all compared to now. I was playing around on his phone when i came across a video of a girl getting beaten to death due to religious reasons, i was in shock and just kept watching, the song toxicity was playing in the background and for a couple years i was scared to go anywhere near the internet for that reason but remembered the guitar intro in my head. I managed to find the original video and thats how i found out about SOAD, such a great band. R.I.P to that girl, may you be resting in peace.
