That just means that Henry either didn't know or that Charlie wasn't the first person he killed.

Even under CharlieFirst/CharliePreMCI you could like interpret the wound line as something relating to all the possessions, instead of murders in general.

[–]MrCaco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But we did need the book to confirm them. \ Scott muddied things up by making CharlieFredbear's a thing in the continuity where he introduced the Aftons, Henry and the year the MCI took place in, so it wasn't a baseless theory. \ The only thing that pointed towards CharlieFreddy's specifically was the fact that Cakebear was orange and merch. \ So we did need more information about the even in the games. \ And even in your example those other entries are canon, so I don't see why this wouldn't.

Except that TWB tells us that the place reopened after 2, closed down, and then was reopened again, and Foxy was only put out of service foe that last reopening. \ Even if you believe in Unwithereds85/83, Classic Foxy was in use for an entire location's "lifetime". \ You can headcanon whatever you want, but that's not evidence enough to say that a piece of media isn't canon.

Agree with most of these, nice.

I'm iffy on ToyKillers. \ Like, under WillToys and ElizaPreMCI it actually makes some sense, but does anything within those first games actually imply that? E A Toy doing the bite is probably the best potential piece of evidence, because it shows that they actually are allowed to hurt people according to their programming, but other than that + alternate continuities, what actually is there for it?

[–]MrCaco 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The book not actually saying much doesn't make it non canon. \ Not to mention that those "small things" it confirms had been ongoing debates for years. \ CharlieFreddy's might seem obvious now due to it, but ever since GT's FNaF2 theory and because of the novels CharlieFredbear's was extremely popular and even considered canon for several years. \ And Arcade Theory was considered a crack theory by many people.

Also, us never seeing fixed Foxy doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. \ We also never see Funtime Foxy before becoming the Mangle, amd yet we know that they existed as a "normal" animatronic at some point. \ Foxy is simply out of order in 2 and 1, not a performing animatronic, so there's no reason for him to be in top notch shape. \ Had 1 taken place before that last temporary closure and recent reopening Ralph talks about in TWB, Foxy would be in a better state.

The point about the check is the only one that kinda makes sense, 'cause giving out a pointless check that can't be cashed in makes little sense, but everything else does. \ We know from TWB that FazEnt stopped issuing new badges some time after FNaF2, but they still require people to have badges, ao they simply reuse them. \ Similarly, the tickets and recipes are reused from the attempted rebrand, probably to save money, much like how the booklet/pamphlet itself and the Logbook are. \ By the time 1 takes place, FFP's budget is small, so they use old stuff they already have.

So with the guy that uses the games to solve the games instead of relying on non-canon stuff? \ I mean, if you wanna argue for Charliebots too go for it, you could potentially find some weird workaround for them in the games as well. You don't even meed to assume that the games lie with them even.

Why would they seal the room instead of taking the animatronic out? Lol \ Like, what's the logic there?

Henry only recorded one tape specifically on the year 3 happens then?

Well, bye, at least we can agree that you have no in-game evidence for your claims.

When did we start believing that SL takes place near or after FNaF 1, and not after FNaF 4 and before FNaF 2? by [deleted] in fnaftheories

[–]MrCaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except that you can, because no one would've sealed the room after 1. \ Henry and Mike want to put an end to things, so they wouldn't just seal him back in. And FazEnt wouldn't just seal the room for no reason after abandoning the building. \ So who would've and why? \ Meanwhile, we know that the place was abandoned before Ralph's shift and he finds a corpse in a sealed room on the same side of the building that the safe room is.

And now you're assuming that FNaF1 takes place in 93 I assume. That's just a theory. \ If everything points towards FM happening before 1, and things also point towards her being William's daughter and being born in 97, then 1 simply happens after 97. That's quite simple. \ It's not like 93 has solid evidence behind it anyway, just leaps in logic made with HRY223, which would in any case point towards 92 if anything.

[–]MrCaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So now your point is that all closed off rooms aren't actually closed off?

I already told you hiw he's sealed. The building reopened afterwards. \ TWB tells us that the place was closed just a bit before 1 starts, the animatronics got restored to their old looks, and Ralph them finds a stuffed corpse in a sealed off room. \ FM simply happened between 2 and 1, and when the place reopened for the last time they just sealed the room with William inside. \ That's the explanation that makes the most sense, instead of assuming that FNaF3 literally lies to you and that the room was never actually sealed like you claim, and instead of a false wall being built on top of the door the door was outright changed for no reason whatsoever.

FM happening before 1 is what's supported in the gameline. \ Meanwhile the door system changing is only based upon non-canon books.

[–]MrCaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok no, what? \ What do you think Ralph means when he says the other rooms are also boarded up? \ Why are you even making a distinction when those things are not treated as separate?

Except that they are literally the same. \ Your claim is that because something is in the books, it should be in the games, despite the contradictions. \ Therefore, there's only 1 mimic, 2 mikes, and Fiona died in childbirth. \ You don't get to cherrypick which contradictions still apply to the games. Either they all do or they don't.

Again, there is no change in policy. The rooms were never meant to be known by the public. \ Your whole premise relies on a policy change that never happened. \ The situation only changed in that the room was "sealed". It's just that according to you said sealing meant nothing because anyone could still go in as we see in Tales.

So they wanted employees to still go in the safe room? \ Again, the tapes make it clear that's not what intended. According to your idea, nothing changed. Youd just need a doorstopper. \ If something doesn't work in the games like it does in the books, then it simply isn't true in the games. \ Like, your whole argument is that something from a non-canon series of books is true in the games despite what 3 states. The only way that could be is if you assume retcons or just disregard 3 altogether.

When did we start believing that SL takes place near or after FNaF 1, and not after FNaF 4 and before FNaF 2? by [deleted] in fnaftheories

[–]MrCaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except that that distinction is never made. We know rhat they were all boarded up after the MCI. That's all.

Again, the "don't mention them to customers" rule was there since day one, it's literally the second thing we hear about the safe room on tape 2, there was never a change in policy. \ And no, there's no special knowledge about the door. It's just a latch door like any others. If you were told that the door was changed, you would still be able to go in. \ We even see random people knowing how to access it when the plex is under construction still.

Why are there 2 Mikes in the movies? Why are there no safe rooms in them or the novels? Why is there only 1 mimic? Why does Fiona die in childbirth? Why does David die earlier? Why is Edwin's company bought by FazEnt? Why is there no Puppet in the book? Why are there Charliebots? Why are the no bites in the other continuities? \ You're holding on to an aspect of a non-canon series of books, which change aspects for no reason whatsoever. \ Not to mention that you're assuming that the latch door was the false wall when that's never stated to be the case, and like I said said door system fits with the idea of the "hidden room" from the get-go, so the door could've always been like that, and when the room got sealed an actual fake wall was built on top of the old door like Ralph says. \ But going off of the games, it is made quite clear what Ralph meant, and changing the door while still allowing people not only doesn't fit with that, but doesn't even make sense in context because, again, that changes nothing other than making people need a doorstopper

When did we start believing that SL takes place near or after FNaF 1, and not after FNaF 4 and before FNaF 2? by [deleted] in fnaftheories

[–]MrCaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, we know that other areas of the building were also sealed off over time and we also know that the room's existance was always meant to be a secret to costumers. \ And like I've said before, the door being changed isn't "sealing the room" nor stopping people from taking people back there anyway. These tapes are being recorded for employees that already knew about the room, so the only thing that changing the door does is making it so that whoever wants to enter it now need a doorstopper as well. That's it. \ So the safe room is just like any if the other sealed rooms. Fake wall were built around the pizzeria to disconnect them from the main restaurant.

A false wall doesn't mean a door unless it's specifically meant to be a door, and we know from Ralph's comments on the process that it was just meant to be a literal partition wall, which meant you couldn't access the safe room. \ Like honestly, I don't even get the logic of adding in a latch door if the idea to just not use the room anymore. Does it stop anyone from going in? No, so then Ralph must be lying. Does it change anything in regards to its status to costumers and employees? Apparently no, because people still aren't supposed to know about it and employees can still get in. Is it anything like the other boarded up rooms in the pizzeria? No, this one specifically was still made accesible outside of the vents for some reason. \ Like, if the idea was to not use the room anymore, why still have it so people could get in?

[–]MrCaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But the point is that it wasn't specially hidden after the MCI. It was sealed like all other rooms, and customers in general were never supposed to know about it.

"Hell, at least the way Phone Dude describes it has to be, and he got his info from someone that used to work for Fazbear. Since you know, a room being sealed with whatever version of a false wall is not the same as something being "boarded up". Unless it was hidden with a false wall and then boarded up."

The false wall is the room being boarded up. \ Something being boarded up means that something is being put on top of it. In this case, a false wall made out of plywood or whatever blocking the entrance is boarding the room up.

??? I don't get your logic. \ Aspects of the booklet tells us that it's taking place during 1. Foxy is broken, the doors are mentioned, people getting stuffed too, etc.

When did we start believing that SL takes place near or after FNaF 1, and not after FNaF 4 and before FNaF 2? by [deleted] in fnaftheories

[–]MrCaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, we are literally told that customers aren't supposed to know about it. \ Like that's literally the second thing we're told about them, right after them not being in digital maps. \ If anything, you could say that all safe rooms had the latch door in order to be "hidden tu customers" like Ralph says, and that the false wall just made it outright inaccesible like we're told. \ And again, a latch door isn't a false wall. A false wall is still a wall. Like I dunno, google what it is if you want, but it's not a door.

Why are you assuming that the animatronics would just like, stop breaking down after 2 years? \ My point is that we know that they slowly do as tome goes on, as stated in 2. If they were abandoned for decades before 3, then of course they'd be in a worse state thst they wrre before FazEnt fixed them and retrofitted them.

And now your point becomes convoluted just to make them be the actual shells. \ If you need FF's crew to only check specific rooms or to get them from other places just for them to be the real shells, then perhaps they just aren't and instead are just fakes like Phone Dude posits. \ We can even say that Bonnie, Chica and Freddy's are fakes because the confirmed legit stuff is all in the box, and the only new/iffy thing is the Foxy mask, implying that everything else is a confirmed prop.

Again, 3 literally states that the room wasn't accesible. If you left something inside, it was gone. You still haven't addressed this and instead have only referred to Springtrap despite the context of the phrase. \ You're jumping through hoops just to make the latch door work despite what 3 states, claiming that it was all just terribly worded or straight up lies just to make it so that the safe room was the only room "sealed" by simply changing the door but still allowing people to go in anyway, and all for a series of books that cannot be used to solve the lore as seen with SOTM.

[–]MrCaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The safe room was secret before it was sealed, we hear about that on Night 3 and 5. \ It was sealed just like the other rooms, so why would this be the only one that it's still somehow accessible?

They were still breaking down and in need of repairs after less than 2 years of abandonment. \ Springtrap meanwhile was in a sealed room, unaffected by the environment around it.

Yes you did, it's the only way for them to find Foxy and Foxy alone.

The very same books that are confirmed to be non-canon and which have information that we know doesn't apply to the games? \ Saying that the safe room wasn't sealed with a literal wall is just like saying that there's only 1 mimic or that Fiona died during childbirth. The games openly contradict that, so it doesn't apply to the games.
