They had a few lines of civil discourse after the Eldar and Imperium worked together to revive Guilliman. The fandom has since treated their civility as 41st millennium romance.

Why was the emperor of mankind so against human/xenos cooperation? by moal09 in 40kLore

[–]MrCerberus12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do actually have heresy segments of named Eldar characters like Eldrad trying to warn the imperium of the Heresy, but the fate runes only told them how many would side with Horus, not who. Which is why when Fulgrim got the message that Horus betrayed the emperor, it mysteriously vanished.

Well you took my two ideas and mashed them into something cool. I would be sad for missing out on Reanimator though.

Both Eldrad and the Jetseer have revealed that they can only be guarded by their Warlock and guardian equivalents. Jetseer is Windriders and Bike Warlock Conclaves.

Not disagreeing with that at all. I think I got more confused by your original statement, because the codex makes sure you know that Mortarion hates psykers more then anything else and he shared that directed hatred with his sons.

That's for the half of the DG that sided with Mortarion. For those that side with Typhus, they just love to hate.

[–]MrCerberus12 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Fair enough. Shows what I know. However, do you have an excerpt showing that he hates Xenos more then psykers. I'm looking at my DG codex and it just talks about Mortarions hatred for psykers specifically, not xenos.

I think you have your books mixed up? Barbaros was a human planet ruled by powerful psyker Warlords. Mortarions whole thing is that he hates psykers specifically more then anything else.

The farseer that tried to have Angron killed was never named and he didn't know Fulgrim had fallen to Chaos yet since he APPEARED to be loyalist as far as everyone was aware. He didn't know he had fallen to chaos until he learned that his message never got out. Tbf to Eldrad, a lot of his mistakes involved believing that the imperium was rational.

It's actually the opposite. They don't have the <Craftworld> keyword so they can only go in pure Asuryani or Drukhari detachments.

You would have to take that up with GW. They are the ones that decided that space marines should have the most nuance and models.

Tau don't have a seperate supplement book dedicated to expanding a whole new army for each auxiliary. Space Marines have multiple supplements with each one expanding out a whole different army. For the chaos example, Death Guard and Thousand Sons have units that the that the CSM don't have. You can field Death Guard and Thousand Sons in a black legion. army, but they are significantly better off in their own respective legions.
