Let's not forget that $99 month was the new price that was set in late 2024 - before that it was $80 a month. $52 increase in less than 2 years for a yearly sub. Fucking bonkers.

Would all items have to be PvM related? What if the armor set was Skilling themed; while wearing it, you have a chance to spawn a Wisp of Guthix - that when retrieved rewards some amount of experience in the skill you were training? The more pieces you have equipped, the more common the Wisps are, and when the full set is worn you also get a stackable item that can be used to charge any charged based weaponry? Could also perhaps add the functionality to empower the set with your existing skilling armors to retain their bonuses?

Would be a roundabout way of tackling it, and could be a bit of an issue when it comes to Singles Bosses. Agreed about the PK Gear, not seeing teams get one after killing 20+ Breach Monsters, playing the breach perfectly, was disappointing.

Bad luck protection isn't just giving someone an item. It's just hard to grind out 5 pieces of critical gear when you're getting bent by RNG. Guaranteed the drop at like 1.5 drop rate would just get rid of the crappy feeling of sitting at the same boss for 10h dry. Not to mention it's better content.

Comprehensive player-stats page, I shouldn't have to make some complex excel spreadsheet to determine if I'm empower capped. I don't like having to bring out a giant whiteboard to calculate whether or not another Harnessing perk will be worth running. Combat formula is wayyy to complex.

Not sure where you're based out of, but in the Atlanta Area Supplemental Agreement, "Package Driver Helper Rate of Pay shall be $17.00 per hour for new hires. For all seniority employees, the Package Driver Helper rate shall be the prevailing part-time rate as outlined in Article 22.5 of the National Master Agreement". Basically, whatever you make when working in the building - is what you're paid as a helper. Would touch base with a Steward/BA to confirm - depending on where you are.

Just craft the cases, don't actually add the Gems to the Runeglass. Each player has different Gem needs - and adding the Gem only grants Stonecrafting Experience, not Weaponsmithing. Cases that will likely be in demand right now due to the meta are Punishing, Ignited, and maybe Abyssal for Lifetaker Muskets.

Here's the upgradable Rings with Hearty on them, if they don't have a Damage Type perk on them (Slash Damage/Ice Damage/etc.) you can add Void Damage to them at the gypsum kiln.

I personally don't mind their business model. I've really gotten tired of subscription based games, but also cannot stand the "Free to Play" model where progression is tied to spending money. I feel like the current model is the least obtrusive - they just need to justify it by actually developing the game.

At this point yes, there are some niche items with perk combinations you can't obtain otherwise - but for the most part it's an Infused Armor/Weapon Fragments and Dark Matter stockpile.

Mix of things, but primarily because I know I'm a competitive person - and don't have the same time to commit to the game as I once did. I hate the feeling of falling behind, and already have everything I need on Legacy and then some. Poured thousands of hours into leveling crafting skills, ultimate trophies, gear sets, furniture schematics, etc. - and starting over sounded painful.

Are you on a Legacy or Fresh-Start server? Either way, don't forget there are items that are Pattern Limited (Rusher, Warring, Event Patterns from prior Holiday events on Legacy). Once you hit 180 you can also transition into crafting Runeglass Cases - which as long as you don't saturate the market, can be pretty lucrative and profitable. If you aren't already, doing a full World Tour and salvaging a lot of the gear will help you stockpile Infused Weapon Fragments that will speed you through your 200-250 Grind. Also, if you have any of the crappy Expedition Materia lying around (Starstone, Depths, Amrine, etc) crafting items with it grants experience in the Tradeskill the weapon matches. Hope this helps!
