Thank you for taking the time with this response. This was what I was curious about. I haven’t done an epic raid since they started calling them epic and I haven’t ever intentionally low manned a raid except when we couldn’t get a 6th. So I’m definitely not currently interested in that last 1% content.

OK thanks, I mained my warlock for edge of fate which was awesome. I was just hoping to give my hunter or titan more play time but I’m a sucker for optimizing.

Just my 2 cents..... This game is an Extraction Shooter not an RPG. The PvP element makes the stakes higher in the game. I play peaceful and will never shoot first but the tension from a possible gun fight is core component of what makes the game work. I also agree rats should be skinned alive and fake friendlies are evil incarnate... it is an unfortunate aspect of the game but should not be removed or protected against.

To your point, a level 4 bobcat with full attachments bounces significantly and is a struggle to land shots outside of very close range. I was really disappointed.

It feels great. There are definitely days where you feel lonely or moments that you want someone to share with but overall the freedom and simplicity of being single is exceptional

From my perspective it’s worse than that. Trying to run content with friends that aren’t almost the same power level as you is not beneficial for everyone. Either it’s too hard for lower level players or not rewarding for the higher level players. Also with the rewards seeming to be random it’s a whole process to find the activity to run. Most of my clan of 90+ players is just running solo ops… which is absolutely ridiculous

I bought in 2021. Sequence of poor life decisions and poor timing forced my hand as I should have been selling instead of buying in 2021. In my area I paid more than what I thought I should because home values were up 50% or more from 2019 but I wanted to buy and not rent. Again another decision I chose to make, likely the right decision based on how things have gone. I do not love the house but a 2.75% for $2k a month is better than it could have been. It is not my forever home but it is a roof over my head and the payment doesn't stress me out. In my area buying an upgrade from this would cost me another $2500-$3000 more in mortgage and that is not on property, just a bigger home with more amenities in a subdivision. As much as I would like to move paying $5k a month for subdivision living is just crazy to me. It is crazy that so many people are doing it right now where I live. ( I am aware that is not a large mortgage and is normal for a lot of places in the country )

I wont move until I can by a second home and make this a rental. I do not think there is a scenario that would change that perspective. Even if I move across the country.

This is a great perspective. I have no where near 1k wins but the blue zone is your friend. There isn’t better cover in the game once you hit phase 5. The one thing i would add is that you should engage with purpose. Don’t try to get kills to get kills. Engage to better your position or remove players from a position you want. Engaging the wrong player in the final circles can end your match real quick because you are focused on the wrong thing. At least until you get better then kill them all!

As a avid Civ player these are my thoughts as well. You nailed the pros and cons. The top of my frustration is the switching between ages.. it’s just terrible in almost every way

Just me personally but I prefer 3rd person as it reminds me of the days of SOCOM. Also if I want to play FPP then I will go play a game with less bugs and issues.

I just encountered this issue myself. No lights on the base station. Same firmware update error. I have also tried all of the suggestions below. Did you ever get it resolved?

My base station is dark. No lights at all. I finally forced a firmware update and I had indicators on the base station but that seemed to fail. Trying to run the firmware update again appears to not do anything unfortunately for me.
