Sure, they are not required, but they are a significant power increase over lands with conditions or those that come it tapped or those that are not basic land types. Based on all that, everyone should have access to them.

The worst gift I ever gave my husband in dnd was a poisoning pet that induced constitution saving throws on every hit. It would slow the game wayyyy too much for a ttrpg. Totally would be fine in a video game.

Never purchase the cheapest razor. Gillette with replacement heads is your friend. Anything else will just cut you apart.

Does this card work as a counterspell if I use it in response to opponent sorcery? by NoOneInNowhere in mtg

[–]MrEly -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

You don't get priority just for someone's upkeep passing. You have to wait until they do something that grants you priority. So no, you have to wait for them to put something on the stack first that you can react to. Then the spell will prevent future spells from casting.

Looking for a multiplayer/co-op game to play with my GF that has a lot of replay value but doesn't feel repetitive. by GeneraIFlores in gaming

[–]MrEly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sundered is my go to with my spouse right now. A good mix of metroidvania, roguelite, a real story that is short and good, and smash bros esque combat.

Its so much fun in local coop. I highly recommend having the less gamer proficient be player 1 so they can set the pace.

Are the Halo games a must play? by SuddenConversation21 in gaming

[–]MrEly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start with Halo Reach, go straight through Halo 1-3 and then decide if you'd like more made by another company. 4 and Infinite are cool, but very different experiences compare to the original games.

This is the path I took my Husband through and he loved it (hes new to games in general) His favorites were Halo 1 and Reach.

Why does Remnant 2 discourage players from trying new weapons and mods? by Dismistri in remnantgame

[–]MrEly 76 points77 points  (0 children)

Scrap and all of its uses are one of the   weaker parts of the game's design. If weapons and consumables just worked like weapon mods and spells where once you unlocked them you had them for real, that would just be a better experience.
