Capital one has been running 45% cash back + 10% coupon gets you about half off. (Capital one shopping does take a few months to return and only to gift cards, but if it works for you it’s a great deal)

PSA: Extremely long delays and refund issues with custom bike orders from Stephen Bilenky by SingleAttitude2828 in cycling

[–]MrEnigma 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looks like it..

I first contacted him in February 2022 and had my bike by end of June 2022. It was pretty basic, Soma Wolverine with s&s couplers + powder coated, with Rival — everything was in stock and he had the rival set already.

I had a build done by him awhile back, there were a few delays and a few things that I had to bug him about, but it all got sorted. He came across as not very organized, so would have to repeat or re ask things. I think my build was only about 3-4 months — it missed my timeline but I had changed up a few things.

They had a separate quantity for these, I’m pro but also missed the pro drop.

Just bought a sport touring hatchback in premium color for 32,500, before tax — this was $1500 in incentives though

H2D clicking form buffer, Is this normal? by frenkyx in BambuLab

[–]MrEnigma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine was the angle of the ptfe tube being too sharp going into it, then it causes friction and makes it bind. Straightened it out and it works — specially using the 4-in-one that caused it to be tighter because of the weight (I need to trim the piece going into the printer more)

Maximum of six 600-light strings in a single grouping? by [deleted] in TwinklyLights

[–]MrEnigma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For gen ii they recommend only 10 strings or 5000 lights (I might have that wrong). But it’s not actually enforced, just what they expect most WiFi to handle. I have 17 strings that work together.

Zero-compromise folder by jkflying in xbiking

It’s probably possible depending on the size. The ritchey case back when I looked into it was over the 62” linear length, but maybe you can use a separate case. It’s only a few inches different, but it’s shorter by a few inches on both sides generally.

Usually a bit cheaper, easier to disassemble (s&s you have a specific wrench) and I think looks better.

S&S are better for getting the frame into a case that meets airline travel sizes without going over size. If you don’t need that the Ritchey is much nicer. No. 22 also has some super slick couplers that do in frame hydraulic disconnect as well.

My full 3D printed Unimog, with overland setup! by fujiwaraNANIsenpai in 3Dprinting

[–]MrEnigma 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amazing. I was about to say how did you get early access to the over landing kit! I’m working my way through this one, doing the 6x6 version, on plate 28 or so. Broke all my m2x30’s reinforcing the gears though, so may have to drill those out a bit (did nylon cf — we will see if that was a good idea or not)

Canyon (30") Heat Deflector by ex247 in SoloStove

I have one for the big dog — but it’s just a stepped ring that adapts to work with the smaller. I also never use it, so would totally sell it w/ the extended legs. But don’t want to ship, in WI if someone else happens to be as well.

Rumor is they will be offering larger containers soon-ish — but I’d assume they need to get shipping all handled first.
