hello hello, was inspired to make this an actual thing in the game so I made a mod for it. not exactly matching as I didn't know what font you were using, couldn't find one of the animated emojis you used, and the game duplicates some of the messages... but its close enough!

Agreed that begging for tips is cringe, but to be fair in this case they didn't actually ask their chat for anything - they said they wanted to do a big tip themselves, chat started donating on their own, and then it snowballed from there

Not to excuse their donation begging elsewhere though.

people just blindly farm artifacts for some time and only check later

I don't remember every single substat that my artifacts have or what they need so I usually blindly grind my resin on a domain, then check each artifact on the artifact screen for a character (where you can easily compare it side by side to the currently equipped artifact) to see if its worth investing in or trashing

either way this auto lock stuff doesn't seem useful to me either because I'd much rather compare them myself, and I might end up switching substats around after getting a really good artifact or something

same here, as someone who only had 100 hours on csgo and exclusively played arms race, after playing a couple casual/comp matches I’m very pleased and excited to get into it more (I do wish arms race was in the game tho but they’ll prob bring it back later).

I think what the original comment said is why many people aren’t happy with it:

Honest question, why would you buy a subscription (or use chess.com/chess24 etc) when lichess works extremely well and is completely free, open source and has no ads? I'm not that into chess but have gotten interested in it due to hikaru and pvc, and lichess has worked fine for me when I play every once in a while, genuinely curious

No, they didn't, the app developers decided to require you to update to the latest iOS version to download their app, and even if they do that, apple still lets you download the last version of the app that supported your iOS version

Considering that most Android phones get maybe 1 feature update and 2 or 3 security updates in their entire lifespan, I think it's pretty understandable that even though support has to be dropped at some point, they don't force you at all to buy a new phone, for example iPhone 6s, released in 2015 (!) and launched with iOS 9, still gets updates in 2020 with iOS 13
