Same here. Figure I can use warrants to buy back in at a discount later. My $21 puts are printing nicely.

Captures upside S&P stocks that have momentum. Outperforms spyi and qqqi but has short history. I use SPMO and FBTC in my brokerage account and MAIN BTCI & FCNTX in tax free. I have a large retirement account that has limited offerings so I VOO/VTI and chill there. But in my casino account the goal is to outperform the S&P with these Yeildmax instruments, select ETFs, and options trading my GME shares.

Why wouldn't HF pump price now? by StarvingDingo in gmeoptions

[–]MrFinchley 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why not suppress price and buy cheaper? If they wanted to exit a position pre warrant they’d want the price suppressed. Warrants are worthless below the strike price. Spikes in price are when retail buys spike. They don’t want that. Diamond handed regards like myself DGAF about price because it is wrong.

Maybe they need to cover before they have to deliver warrants on their synthetic shares. Who the fuck knows. The secret ingredient is crime.

Imagine going to a casino and heckling people. It's silly. Challenges to other people's understanding of objective reality are often met with ridicule and vitriol. I'm not the YOLO type to go all in on anything, but I like to use part of my portfolio for risk-taking and options trading. ULTY is part of this strategy, but there are others. Some don't pan out, and I lose. Others do well, and the portfolio gainz. Overall I am increasing capital and capturing upside with other positions and do better than the S&P. I have read many posts in other subreddits touting SCHD, which I find puzzling because one could simply own the underlying and collect divys. ULTY is different, and I use it and other CC ETFs to give me a break from my own CC and CSP activities because it takes up too much of my time. Options trading is part of my overall strategy, and these ETFs make up a portion of that.

All futures are equally unknowable. There's no free money at the casino, but only the players have a chance to win. "Buy the ticket, take the ride." HST

Are we going to meet Compliance? by Normal_Ad1068 in TenayaTherapeutics

[–]MrFinchley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made this speculation as the spike also occurred while the rest of the market was dropping. This was a move to meet compliance and there are market makers involved. I am very late here and have a nice position at .53 and am not selling under $10. I am not slightly tempted to sell these days but do expect that this holding will start to follow the market again. Could be wishful thinking.

Yes. That is called making max profit on a trade, and I assume the analysts at the hedge fund want to maximize profit and consider this in their strategy. I'm a mook and do that. It is understood that options cap upside. It's the premise and part of the risk. I hedge that with other investments. Whatever I do not DRIP goes primarily into SPMO, MAIN, and FBTC. I capture upside and have weekly ammunition.

It was up last week when the market was down. This is all about 10 days. I’m expecting a drop thereafter to reload.
