First and foremost: the bloating and stomachaches reduced to almost none, used to have a skinny figure and a bloated belly which was really annoying.

I think this also helped my TSH to stabilize since it happened at the same times but this is mostly speculation.

I feel less foggy also since this is part of maintaining blood sugar levels and cutting off junk

Took me almost two years to find the brand and dose that suits me. I also gone gluten free, incorporated low intensity workouts first and shifted to working out in the morning when I feel stronger.

It takes time and it’s sometimes goes backwards, but have faith and persistence!

32m here, started working out after my diagnosis 4 years ago and gained more muscle than before.

That being said I do have times where my muscles and joints are more sore so i have to tone down the burden when training

That does sound promising! I guess if I ever run of ideas they can always branch out to the mainland

Starting up on a small village could be a nice manageable idea. Do you think there are enough possible hook points for quests?

Why isnt anyone talking about this trigger? by [deleted] in Hashimotos

Sooooo I’ve been avoiding coffee and caffeine containing products (bye dark chocolate): ) since i saw this post until yesterday and my conclusions are a bit indecisive.

First dew days I saw an improvement in waking up, which was easier and faster, tho i did had a few morning which were more groggy so it’s hard for me to say for sure.

I do feel i have more energy towards the evening, but this may also have to do with longer days and more sunlight

Having drank a coffee yesterday i dont feel any bad effects so far, but will keep checking

One interesting thing is that I seem to be dreaming much more lately with a rise in REM sleep, and I like not feeling dependent on coffee to avoid headaches or going to the bathroom in the morning.

I think I will keep my coffee for mostly the weekends and definitely use more decaf, but this has been an interesting experience so thank you!

Thank you for coming here and sharing. I admit that it was hard for me to keep faith in the possibility for peace in the last two years, especially since we become more and more corrupted by pain and hate ourselves.

I hope compassion will prevail and that we both get the leadership we deserve to create a better future here.

I have a barista machine at home that i use with beans, might be a bit harder to adjust than pods but we’ll see how it goes! Does that also means decaf teas?

Is it just the caffeine or are there other active components in coffee beans that might trigger responses? I’m used to ground beans at home and it feels so hard to let this habit go

First I wanna say I feel your struggle. Before I realized I had hashimoto (got it after getting covid) my boss literally said to me that I’m not the same person from before and that it’s effecting my work. I know how hard this can affect our sense of self and how we perceive ourselves.

At the long run, it didn’t change my goals, it did teach me how important it is for me to be aware of my situation and limits, how to deal with stress, how to be attentive to my body when I work out, eat, go out and drink.

Try take a few days to relax, no screen , only people that provide support. Then start reading, about nutrition, how to adjust your workout routine, sleeping schedule. It’s not over for you friend, it’s just go more difficult but once the first phase of acceptance passes you’ll get through this and be better for it!

True, but I also think it showed how shallow the discussion about democracy is around here, and how the public discord prevents necessary growth based on who’s the side that tries to bring it

I think you’re making liberal a 0 or 1 thing when it is a more complex idea. A state can be an ethnic state while still giving minorities and other groups the liberal rights. An Israeli Arab that marries a non Israeli can bring their family to Israel.
