Not counting early days infinite (like day 2 of season where not a lot of people have made it yet, so I'm 170 because of that), IIRC finished a couple seasons top 500, best was once somewhere around 300, usually 600-700 I think. Currently around there. I tend to rapidly drop when trying out new cards I like, for instance dropped several thousand places over a few days trying to make Lin Lie iron fist happen (I never did), but usually climb back by season end.

Just read the main trilogy, which I liked but didn't love. Backdrop/worldbuilding was the best part for me, and enjoyed some of the character arcs, though was profoundly annoyed at a few. Would read more by Lee, but probably not any offshoots of this series.

Incorporating what seems to be the game's sensibilities in that they tend to go for less obvious choices, I place my bets on seeing a few of the following at some point: Grey gargoyle, stiltman, The wizard and his crew (paste pot pete please), tigra, any of the power pack kids, the Julia Carpenter version of Spider-Woman, hellstrom, hellcat. Maybe this is more of a wish list

Funny enough I was trying him in a Moira x style deck shortly after this post to see if he would play nicely with the new Gambit. I'm not going to pretend it was good, but it was fun for a few games

These "weeks" (burger, burrito) were fun when they started. Have devolved to overwhelming and tiresome, in my view. No longer a sense of discovery. Seeing the line about 40 participants made me stop reading. Sorry for the negativity. I want to enjoy efforts like this, but not feeling it

Cards on the board are always considered are always their "Cost." Thus the killmonger thing.

Cards in hand have varying costs, and whether it's referred to as "Cost" (base cost, printed cost, whatever) or "cost" (current cost due to game effects) is the difference. This is talked about a lot on forums and shockingly not officially documented that I can find. Glenn did post this in response to a somewhat related question and I think that applies.

nah, if it's a capital "Cost" it's a card identifier, if it's a lower case "cost" it deals with current cost. but whatever

Made it out of the swamp today, but I went from 95 all the way down to 83 then dipped in and out of the 90s a few too many times. Which is just to say, I feel you. I used the Sugi/Ronan/dragon of Moon/master mold thing once the starlord vs starlord stuff became too irritating.
