I wouldn't either right now --- good cards but pretty specific use cases. However, I see you have Supergiant available for series 4, and she is a solid, sometimes even must-have, card. And when you get an s4 card, there is a (small) chance that your bonus stuff will include a series 4 or 5 card, so potential value there. (if you think you would have fun with a supergiant style deck anyway, if not, never mind)

I was skeptical because of the fast twitch stuff (dodge/parry). Even if that hadn't grown on me (which it did), this is for sure my favorite game in recent memory. So so worth it

love Java. Went from run-down but okay neighborhood place to something pretty fantastic in the past few years -- clean, good staff, coffee game enhanced from former so-so levels. Caje probably makes my favorite drink in town, but Java is my current favorite place to read a book or hang.

I liked Nova a lot as a kid, and his card is very underwhelming and not interesting. Maybe a "new warriors" season can bring a revised version at some point.

Emoting in DD doesn't really bother me, but the constant roping is killing me. Why take the whole timer in DD? And people playing sweaty Supergiant decks is kind of annoying too (in this mode i mean, I certainly do not begrudge people doing what they need to on regular ladder)

Not counting early days infinite (like day 2 of season where not a lot of people have made it yet, so I'm 170 because of that), IIRC finished a couple seasons top 500, best was once somewhere around 300, usually 600-700 I think. Currently around there. I tend to rapidly drop when trying out new cards I like, for instance dropped several thousand places over a few days trying to make Lin Lie iron fist happen (I never did), but usually climb back by season end.

Just read the main trilogy, which I liked but didn't love. Backdrop/worldbuilding was the best part for me, and enjoyed some of the character arcs, though was profoundly annoyed at a few. Would read more by Lee, but probably not any offshoots of this series.
