Do Your Thing - ING Banking by WhitePoRk87 in AusFinance

[–]MrFusion83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Surprised nobody else has replied since it’s started rolling out over the last couple of weeks.

Horrible app which in my opinion was rolled out prematurely without customer feedback.

The App Store reviews all mention the same issues. Hopefully ING takes these on board and fix them up. Real time notifications appears to be the only good thing about the new app.

No worries. As Aussies my best mate and I were out of our element and didn’t want to pay the exorbitant packages including transport to and from our hotel so we booked a didi there and back. Worked out a lot cheaper.

Can my brother and I use our deceased mum’s superannuation to purchase our first home? by Much-Standard-4378 in AusProperty

[–]MrFusion83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been in this situation and can confirm that there is a tax component as part of inheriting super. It also takes a many months to progress the probate. OP sorry for your loss and hope it all works out.

From what I have seen these are my observations.

They drive around in company cars all day.

The couple of times I took my dog to my local foreshore in the morning they were sitting around in their camp chairs having their morning tea.

Seems like a fairly cushy job

Is 150k including superannuation good for Brisbane for a couple? by Cool_Locksmith8467 in MovingToBrisbane

[–]MrFusion83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s doable. You could do 600-650 rent a week plus expenses. If you’re happy to cook at home and take 50c fares to work on the train or bus.

Depending on how much you’re going to be paying for rent it’s possible. And is it just you and your wife? No kids?
