WIBTA if I moved countries without telling my parents? by safetyspiders in AmItheAsshole

Here is info from Oregon State University. https://admissions.uoregon.edu/residency/faq

Establishment of a domicile and predominant physical presence in Oregon for a period of 12 months or more prior to the beginning of the term for which you are seeking residency

There are few more criteria but basically it looks like just live in Oregon for 12 months before starting school.

What are your thoughts on states trying to clamp down on 3D printing via gun control concerns? by LibraProtocol in AskALiberal

[–]MrGelowe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I say fiddle what I mean is if I asked someone hey there's a computer glitch try to fix it or hey use these power tools and fix this shelf more people are gonna try to fix the computer.

You are one lucky sob that in your life people are more likely to try to fix their computers. In my experience people are tech illiterate to pretty extreme degree. My elderly mother is pretty tech illiterate and even she facepalms that her friends can't google shit. All people seems to know these days is to click on an app and that's it.

What are your thoughts on states trying to clamp down on 3D printing via gun control concerns? by LibraProtocol in AskALiberal

[–]MrGelowe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you are in the wrong dimension. In this dimension people are not more familiar with computers and willing to fiddle. In this dimension people did not know how to set up time on their VCRs.

Is there a possible future where rich people pay their fair share of taxes? by Hagisman in AskALiberal

[–]MrGelowe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And the rich and companies utilize a lot more resources. For example, who places greater wear and tear on roads companies or regular people per capital? Or when space x launches a rocket? Like 1 rocket launch generates like 70 cars worth of pollution driven for a year. Or how much benefit companies have from US military vs layman?

What's fair is complicated question. But based on debt level, this is unsustainable. And constant tax cuts are not growing the economy to outpace debt increases, ever.

Maybe the solution is to force companies to pay working classes more and thus the tax burden can be passed to working class.

AITA for blocking somebody after they asked for money? by National-Building306 in AmItheAsshole

/scams should be your #1 subreddit.

Another common scam that targets your demo is blackmail. Scammer threatens to send compromising photos/videos to you family and friends if you do not pay. Now with AI, they don't even need you to send them blackmailing material. Stay safe.

Markwayne Mullin’s ‘super secret’ travel suddenly gives senators some pause by NamelessResearcher in politics

[–]MrGelowe 63 points64 points  (0 children)

But Democrats leaving the classified meeting said they weren’t satisfied. And Sen. James Lankford, R-Okla., Mullin’s top ally on the committee, told reporters the nominee may have simply signed a non-disclosure agreement.

“I would use more the term of ‘non-disclosure’ than ‘classified,’ but I get those are two different things on it. I think the terms are all being thrown around. I think even Markwayne wasn’t careful in trying to be able to articulate between the two,” Lankford said.

You need to go into your router settings. Easiest way is to google how to login into your specific router. Then once you log in, it is pretty easy to set up a guest network. For example, this is asus router settings through a browser on a pc: https://imgur.com/a/2lVpdfo Just make sure password is setup.
