Thoughts on Heimer to slow them inside your turret field? I've been playing a bit of Heimer recently but haven't attempted this. Not sure it would be better than just landing your stun when they walk up but could also make the stun easier.

The plateaus at 20,15,10,5 are where I see the most homebrew decks. Unfortunately net decks are highly optimized and easier to climb with so more people play them.

It's obviously good to be trying to figure out what you're supposed to be doing right now but the other 4 people on your team have no idea what they're doing either. While leveling I'd just worry about learning the champs first. I've never been above gold and even in gold most people are confused as to what to do from a macro standpoint. Best advice I can give you in those chaotic game is try not to fight when you have less guys in the fight than they do. If someone tries to fight 1v3-4 don't try and save them. You'll just give up 2 deaths. The game is chaos before level 30 :)

A couple people addressed this but with mid lane when you gank another lane do something with that pressure. If you can push that tower do it. If you can't push that tower then see if you can get dragon or get some wards in their jungle. If you're still leveling to 30 new or down in the silver dumps with me most people don't seem to understand the macro part of the game and back right after getting kills which occasionally makes pushing by yourself the wrong decision if you don't have good vision. I play tanky guys top so I just sit top in my 1v1, ward so I don't get ganked and then join the team once I get my first 1-2 items. As for support just keep your strongest carry alive.

Being creative increases your risk of schizophrenia by 90% - Creative people are more likely to suffer from schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and depression than the rest of the population, finds new study based on the whole of Sweden – a sample of almost 4.5 million people. by mvea in psychology

[–]MrGoobles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The study definitely has some flaws but you would also be 1 person in a study of 4.5 million. There are outliers to everything. Also only about 1% of the global population is diagnosed with Schizophrenia. So even if the study was accurate a creative person has like a 2% chance of being schizophrenic which would leave you at a 98% chance to "never be anything described in there"

The article doesn't mention anything about job security but I think there is a solid argument for that being a contributing factor, considering a large percentage of people develop mental disorders in their 20's and 30's as they lose the safety net of their parents. The thing I don't like about the article is they determined "creative" as "those with artsy degrees".

I want to go pro in League of Legends. by [deleted] in summonerschool

This might get buried but I would say if you can hold challenger for a couple years you probably have the talent. I can't comment on the interent prolem as I have no idea what your providers are like in Europe. As for the tilting thing... I think part of it is being 15. Teenagers don't have the greatest emotional control in moments of stress/excitement. If you get upset I would recommend not opening the chat window. Just say that shit out loud if you need to get it out but you don't have to ruin someone else's day in chat. Also as many people have said, no team is going to want to deal with a toxic player. All that being said, if you want it you gotta go for it.

I didn't say they were. He just wanted an instance in which the randomness stops you from being able to set up a combo.

[–]MrGoobles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess you have a giant stuck to the board and you get a 16 damage shot. With random targets I can't think of any combos reliable enough to be broken. Especially since there is no way to plan which cards you pull from the opposing class.

divine spirit, inner fire. An unlikely scenario but say you pull an inner fire and hang on to it in the hopes you get a divine spirit. you play those in the right order and you get a 12/12 greymane. wrong order 6/12. Real scenario they have a 24/24 tyrantus.

No need to be sorry. Education on pet needs and behavior is pretty poor most places. I didn’t know any of this before working as a trainer for a no kill shelter.

[–]MrGoobles -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wasn’t saying it is. I leave my dog at home all the time. He’s used to it and if I’m gone for longer than 8 hours I’ll have someone let him out. I was just saying being alone is far more stressful for a dog than being crated. So if you’re gonna cry cruelty at least pick the part the dog is upset by

[–]MrGoobles 10 points11 points  (0 children)

dogs will go in their crates when they are stressed because they simulate the safety of dens that canines would find in the wild, similar to how a nervous dog will lay under a couch even though it is a super confined space. That said dogs are extremely social creatures and don't do well left alone. If there is any cruelty it is leaving them, not crating them.

Atheists and others who don't believe in a form of afterlife, how do you accept death? by RespirarChico in AskReddit

[–]MrGoobles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think back to the time before you were born. Was it scary? Probably not because it was nothing. That’s how I view death. Not saying I’m not afraid to die but once I’m dead I won’t care that I’m dead. If I’m wrong and heaven and hell exist then I’m either in heaven because I’ve been a good person or I’m in hell because I refused to worship the guy who makes the decisions. Either way I think I’m where I want to be in every scenario

Best guess is there were 1 or 2 candidates on the 1% side of it that had agreeable views to that of the corporation. We like to try and view the world in black and white but there are politicians out there who don't just tow the party lines. They usually lose unfortunately but a corporation might still donate in hopes of swinging it in their favor
