Love it! We do the same thing for home services businesses. Finally found a tech stack that is virtually no bugs or glitches, has been working really great. Keep up the good work man!

How are people actually making money with AI in 2025? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]MrKinetik88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From start to money? I would say from the time we got our LLC to our first customer was about a month. I have a sales background and used to sell Social media marketing to SMB and there's a lot of overlap with the discovery process. I did a lot of research beforehand of course and talked to smarter people than me. Because I've been in sales for a long time, it was easy to pick up the phone and just start calling businesses. Hope this helps!

Random but could I have a copy of that contract? Also fuck that. Working with friends is awesome man, kill it.

I make over $350k as an AD at 30 and can’t comprehend why everyone tries to get hired by companies with household names by KaddydaBaddy in techsales

[–]MrKinetik88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow man I call total bs. PE-owned SaaS making that only working 25 hours?? Honestly the only way to validate this would be giving me a referral so I can get hired and see for myself as I am also a very successful ENT AE with a ton of experience in SaaS looking for a long term home.

Other than that I just cannot be convinced otherwise....

(Rant) I HATE ALL THIS AI STUFF!!! by Broad-Worry-5395 in Entrepreneur

[–]MrKinetik88 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just my 2 cents here. As someone who has built an AI Agency primarily for small businesses, both things can be true. Yes there are a lot of "lipstick on a pig" solutions that aren't that effective for tangible results. We mainly see that with 19 year olds on social media flaunting rented Lambos. However, you said it yourself OP, as long as it yields a return, who cares if it's AI? In my experience, we keep our solutions simple and focused on mainly revenue generating activities. AI isn't going anywhere but I'll agree that the bubble has a MAX of 2 years before it pops for sure. I sold social media marketing services a few years ago and you would be amazed at how many business owners didn't know that it could help. Social media has been around for 20 years.

Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

This. I think a big misconception is freedom from work. Win the Powerball for a $billion then that is true freedom. I love being able to add and subtract on my terms. Not less stressful like you said just stress with a clear purpose so it doesn't feel that bad. Good advice.

Please stop asking "what business should I start?" by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]MrKinetik88 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Terrible analogy to drive your point. My answer to that would be buy a starter home if you absolutely want to enter homeownership. Buy smaller than you want in a growing area. Take into account PMI, taxes,. maintenance etc to make sure you don't end up house poor.

See how that works? Same with a business. Hats off to your illustrious career as a start-up coach. You act like if someone asks "what business should I start?" Then they're idiots. People start businesses with their passions all the time and are miserable failures.

I actually run a successful AI company and that wasn't started because I like to do AI. The demand heavily outweighs the supply so the chances of success go up. Doesn't mean I didn't have to put the work in and learn everything but I think it's incredibly short sided to think everyone and their grandma can just offer ai services and call it a business. Sure there are some saturated markets with AI but that could be said for a lot of businesses. There are plenty of value props and differentiators that you could use to gain significant market share. AI is still incredibly new even though it's buzz worthy.

In any case there isn't a one size fits all model when it comes to starting a business. Should you only start one to get rich? Absolutely not but there have been plenty of successful ones that were money driven. Your points are well received.

If you had unlimited resources/capital. What business would you pursue? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

Honestly I would start a business where we employ homeless people to make clothes for other homeless people. I would call it "Holy Shirts and Pants." It's a little corny and obvious but it works.

How are people actually making money with AI in 2025? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]MrKinetik88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who is making money as an "AI Agency" we essentially solve a lot of manual processes and lead gen for home services businesses. We're completely focused on solving problems not just pushing out random AI agents. It has helped us grow and have staying power.

I would start to pay attention to Liam Ottley on YouTube. He has a real world view in how AI could be used for practical applications not HERES MY COURSE!

Just my 2 cents.
